Powerlifting/Strongman Thread

Tin Man ! Really excited to have you now pushing numbers! Your gonna love it.
It's what keeps me excited about going back into the gym.
I'm no spring chicken. Guys my age always tryin to get me to do their Rep Workout !
With out being rude I say Fuck That ! Time to squat 4 plates and pull 5!!!
 
Yo, Tatman. I did your DL workout last night. But we squatted 1st.
So after doing heavy squat triples I worked up to my 1 rep On deads.
Dropped back to 80% - hit that beltless to 10 then 8.
Then worked singles back up. Stopped at 485 last rep! Stopped before I missed any.
Yeah Buddy thanks for the tip. No Doubt it will get me to 550 and eventually 600.

Hell yeah man!!! That is killer...glad you tried it...just use with moderation lol...if not it can work the other way...keep me posted! I am behind you...I know you will get there
 
Oh nice, 4 weeks in. It's about to get real good! Seems like week 6 is when shit gets serious !
That's awesome Bro. You gonna stay on Dbol for all 10 weeks ? I thought 8 weeks should be the most for strong orals ?
 
I'll stop the dbol next week or week 6 at the most...I used to push it all the way through when I was young....I have learned a lot since then and don't risk it anymore....
 
Anyone used injectable dbol? Pros/cons? I have only used tabs. Know if any of the boards sources carry it? Also, I have always thought halo was over rated, lots of aggression but always felt like Tren was the king for strength gain...thoughts?
 
Just 2 days in to powerlifting I find my self baby crawling up stairs to a hot tub
I have my FULL GYM in the basement

I'm starting with light weight high reps 10-15 to get my form down with squats and deadlifts for 3 weeks

Tin Man....I am absolutely thrilled you are taking to PL...it will change you damn life brother...I'll be watching for you as you rise up...This is great....keep us updated
 
Been thinking about upping my test to a gram for the last 4 weeks of this cycle...I have done 1500 test in previous cycles but PCT was interesting to say the least. ..has anyone done 10-12 weeks of dbol instead of the standard 8? I ask because if I continue the dbol, I can keep the test a bit lower and achieve the results I want before the meet...One last question....thoughts on adding halo 2 weeks prior...tacking it on to the end of the cycle?

Tatman, I have tried inj Dbol. It was Express Dom Dbol/prop blend. I liked it but it had a bite!
He sent me one vial to try out. Id do it again.
