Pinning

This old dude from my gym, says he is some kind of mr chicago in the 70's. he is still in good shape, but anyways, he said that injecting in the delts, doesnt get all of the test in the body. He claims that only in the glutes u get 100% of the test. Is this true? ive always been pining in the delts and i am getting good results.

It depends on how much muscle development one has. That's why the glutes or quads in some causes are superior for IM injections. Delts would need smaller amounts with prop imo long esters need the larger muscles. The thinking of bringing up or developing that particle muscle because of site injection is wrong imo. Nothing like Google and old school tried and true bros

Medically speaking no there isn't a difference with the exception of the amounts each muscle group should be injected with. Quads and glutes-3cc or less and delts-1cc or less. That is what medicine teaches.

Delts typically will hold less oil volume than quads or glutes, but that should be an issue unless you were injecting a lot of oil. Other than that I can't see there being a difference

I bet DRB has some knowledge on this. I tripped over an article one night that was a "myth buster" type piece. They were arguing in their work that in fact location does matter and when you pin an area it gets more of the effect. That does and doesn't make sense to me because the oil disburses the chemical into the fatty tissue right and then it works into the system from there right??

I have just grown weary of the glute contortion so I use quads and delts more than anywhere else. I am right handed so the right glute is ok... left glute is a pain to hit the spot, but once in I can dispense it without a problem. I pinned too close to a nerve in my left quad once. My dang leg was painful for about 8 or 10 days but it passed. I was worried the first day I was getting an abscess but after reading a lot I realized I had just gotten lazy and pinned too low.

I've had this happen to my quad one time as well. 3 days before moving into a new home too. Not only did it hurt like a bitch, but got infected too. Gotts to be carful with the quads- now I got 3 different areas on my quads to pin.
