Hello Dylan really love the content and you sharing your knowledge about steroids teaching us what to do...I've watched your video on overtraining and i wanted to know if there is such thing as over-training when you're on a cycle since recovery speeds up with more testosterone in your body

You can 'over-train' while running AAS IF you under eat (fail to meet you nutritional needs), under sleep and train too frequently in such a state. If you manage to supposedly 'over-train' on AAS you really shouldn't be running AAS IMO.

bro you can overtrain at anytime... for instance, lift 7 days a week and you'll know... you can overtrain no matter what you are on bro... period...

We talk a lot about "more not being better" with AAS on our board.....training is the same way. Far too many guys are posting "I workout for 3 hours a day 6 days a week!" like that's some kind of accomplishment.

If you do all of this right you will GET THE MOST FROM THE LEAST. The fact that you're on or off only has a small impact on training. The selection of exercises will change and rep range will be different, but for the most part there's no dramatic roller coaster changes.

You can over do anything.

Overtrain a specific muscle group? Most likely not. Overtrain your central nervous system? Absolutely.

Spend 3 hours in the gym, lifting vigorously, 7 days a week, and I guarantee you will run yourself into the ground. I don't care if you're running 4 grams a week, it will happen haha.

The guys who train 3 hours a day without a rest day are the same guys that talk for 10 minutes between sets and are able to talk to their grandma on bluetooth during a "heavy" set of db press. That means they're not training intensely. When I train, it's "Shut the f%%% up, don't talk to me. I'm lifting."

I'll say it again... if you can do it, you have zero business on AAS. Everything has to be done wisely.

A lot of folks think being on gear in itself is an accomplishment and qualifies them as being a bad ass. Look around there are plenty of people 'on' that are missing hitting any goals they, or anyone might have period. Doing it all wrong is still doing it all wrong no matter what you pin...

Your muscles will recover very rapidly while on gear providing sleep and nutrition is on point . however your cns is where you will see overtraining but if you do it wisely rest at the right times and train the right way ( not going too explain in detail too long and complicated hire a coach) but there are ways too train twice a day 7 days a week and not tax your cns and recover but it needs too be done correctly and generally only for pros because if you have too work a regular job and do other stressfull activities in life this wont be feasable it wpuld need too be the center of your life

Of course being on cycle makes recovery much easier and you can train at a higher capacity, frequency, etc....but it isn't an open ticket to train as hard and often as you like. You can easily overdo it and be counterproductive. You can actually set yourself back and cause more harm than good. You grow in the kitchen and while resting....not in the gym. Moral of the story is you can push a little harder, but always allow enough time for rest and recovery or you'll be sorry

Bump Rick, 44, Gymjunkie, and Synthetically_Swole....all very well said.

You can ABSOLUTELY overtrain yourself naturally or while running gear. You can overtrain yourself right into a state of Rhabdomylosis. It's more a state of mind than it is anything else. All those bullshit shirts I see in the fitness mainstream like "no days off" and what not help set a poor example.

5 days on hard and 2 days off is all you need

lets put it this way... everytime you lift, you are tearing down muscle fibers in a major way... if you do not take any rest days, how on earth can they ever rebuild and grow if there is nothing but constant tear down going on? that's how people atrophy and lose size... its honestly just stupid to be honest... once again, the concept of more is better shows to be untrue again!
