Outter sweep quads

Have you tried a couple 100 rep sets? That's my new thing. Kuclo did an article on it a while back for flex i think. I gave it a shot and man.... ridiculous. Both leg extension and hammy curl. 100 reps each set at like 70lbs.

That burns my legs just thinking about it. I may have to give that a try sometime. I already do high rep widow maker sets of 20-30 reps on my last quad movement each workout. Those things are killer

Just imagining the blood pumping into my legs with some high rep straight sets like that hurts lol. To get some extra work into lagging parts, I like to do multiple sets ramping up in 10 rep increments up to 40 to 50 reps (short controlled rest breaks in between) and then go into a DC style extreme stretch for that muscle group. Feels like death.
 
I did a pyramid on leg press from 2 to 20 plates and back down... min rest and could barely burn 50 reps with a single plate to finish. Talk about pump. High reps are where its at

im doing something similar but not 100 reps, the burn is so bad it makes you want to cry

Oh hell yeh, that would fucking kill right there. I know from my own experience that the DC extreme stretch in quads can kill you even more than the exercise, especially when going directly into the stretch with little to no rest
 
Not 100. For the last month I changed to a bit lighter 135-255 4x25 so a total of 100 working reps with warm up sets of 95 and 115. Kept it pretty light and got some great pumps. Used a more narrow stance but still had my feet opened up. I will increase weight a bit, narrow stance and face feet forward for 12-15 rep sets and see how that goes. No more leg extensions for now since that really hammers the tear drop and that isn't a real problem for me at the moment

Well leg extensions you can modify actually. Point you're toed out and heels almost together. Then try it.

yeah i know what you mean man. yesterday i did high rep quads then after the set went into a quad stretch immediately. crap hurt so bad. funny part is people are looking at you like what the? they have no IDEA you are on a whole nother level then them..

Lol yep the looks people give make me laugh. We probably look ridiculous cringing in pain in weird positions stretching. I caught my face in the mirror a few times and it ain't pretty lol. Full of blood, the stretches can be excruciating like torture but I love it.
