Nipro pins

Am I hallucinating or are Nipro pins a bigger pain in the ass then say BD? I started using the 25G 1in Nipro for delt injections and they seem a bit more harsh, like im forcing them in more than usual. Anyone else notice this? Or am I going insane? lol

I find nipro superior to bd. They're definitely sharper. Did u get them from gpz?

Yep, maybe I am trippin but it almost seemed like using a needle that had been used to draw with(that dull point). I'll give them another shot(no pun intended) and see how it goes.

Every once in a while I run into a few that seem duller. I always let a couple drops of oil run down the pin and this seems to help it go in smoother.

Okay, glad it wasn't just me. These just seemed a bit duller than usual, thanks for the input!

Nipro is my favorite.
I've never had a bad experience with them. Very consistent. I have had a couple that seemed a little dull, but that happens with all brands. Nipros seem to always glide right in like a hot knife through butter.
BD has been the worst in my opinion.
Give it another go before writing them off.

Ya thats what I do as well. Haven't used nipro before. I buy in bulk and have a shit ton of terumo and bd pins still.

I've got a shit heap of Nipro 25G 1 in so I will be using them up, I believe I had a one off. Thank you all for your consensus of opinion, always appreciated.

Got some Qs about these. I've been using 10cc 21g 1" BDs. Do these come in a needle only pack? That will fit said syringe? Where do you get yours at? I'd like to draw with what I have and pin with these if that's possible. Thanks

I find a dull one every once in a while, but lately I've had problems plunging the barrel don't know if I have scar tissue building up making it hard to push the oil through???

If I buy 200 nipro pins 199 of them will be dull as fuck and hurt like hell going in (god knows why but they do)
BD and termuro are definitely the best quality. You get what you pay for especially when it comes to medical supplies. Its not like Nipro actually hurt, its just that BD and termuro are completely painless. Half the time i don't even realise im sticking myself. Not the case with Nipro.

Nipro pins are awesome. I think I've had maybe one issue with threading and that's it. They always draw and push smooth. 18 to pull, 25 to push

nipro has always been hit and miss for me... i always prefer terumo to be honest... i tend to by nipro often but they are not my number 1 at all

This should be normal protocol before pinning for everyone. It really helps a lot to lubricate the needle before injecting.

For the record I use nipro pins myself, and never had a problem with them. I've also used terumo and BD in the past.

sometimes it depends on the company you order from... i generally dont have problems with gpz but i have had some bad pins from allegro... i like allegro but they have had some bad ones at times...

I primarily pin nipro and recently accidentally ordered same length and gauge (I use 22g 1in) covidiens and they seem FAR cheaper made and "harsher" as you put it. I never have complaints about nipro though
