Welcome to isarms bro. Glad to have you here with us. If there's anything I can do to help you out with your goals, I'm happy to help steer you in the right direction
My biggest questions is..how do I it's time to get on gear?
I really am a skinny-fat hard-gainer and have shitty genetics, for how long should I keep trying?
Until you learn how to eat and train correctly bro! If you haven't learnt how to improve your physique naturally steroids should not be in your vocabulary.

Welcome bro! Why don't you post the rest of your stats so we know what we're working with? Height, weight, bf% training experience, years of training, goals, daily diet including macro nutrient breakdown, supplements if any, etc...

Getting your diet right and building consistency in the gym and kitchen is where you need to start.
Sarms are a good thing to start with as well to help you achieve a good body composition goal. They are excellent for building lean mass and strength while losing bodyfat coupled with the right diet and training. I'd be happy to help you set something up

The day you started down this road of changing your body and taking it seriously you're commuted for life...and you can gain you just have to eat more and work harder. What does your diet look like?
