Needle guage sizes

Fellas, i'm on the final countdown for starting my first ever testosterone enanthate only cycle. I will be running a conservative dose of 300 mg per week. My IFBB acquaintance has directed me to draw the test E with an 18 guage 1 inch Leur lock needle (3cc syringe), and pin with a 23 guage 1 inch Leur lock needle (3cc syringe). Now, I watched a very kind fellow's video on YouTube by the name of EnhancedAthlete.com drawing with a 3cc 18 guage needle, then he took a 30 guage 1/2 inch insulin needle, took the plunger out and then with the 3cc 18 guage syringe, which he had filled with 1cc of testosterone, shot it into the 30 guage 1/2 inch insulin needle, replaced the plunger, and then pinned it in his upper pectoral. Effortless, ouchless. Now it is my understanding that the needle has to be long enough to go through to the muscle. A half inch 30 guage needle seems to make perfect sense to me to pin in. I mean there is like no fat in the upper pecs. And, and I do sets of 100 plus reps pushups without stopping 2 to 4 days per week followed by doorway pectorals stretches. So with that being said, doesn't it sound logical that since i'm working my pecs all the time that I could avoid PIP? Man I want to use that tiny needle!

The full title for the YouTube video is:

Injections including testosterone: my favorite injection needle and site, TRT, HRT.

Of course, aromasin, 12.5 mg every other day. By the way 303, what is your experience with AAS?

Have you ever injected before?
I wouldn't suggest a pec injection to be your first if so. Whatever you are comfortable with though.
30g is way too small for my liking to be pushing oil through. It takes long enough to pin with a 25g.
I stick with the tried and true 25g x 1" for quads, glutes, delts and vg. I don't like using a big gauge needle for drawing and risk taking chunks of the rubber stopper out. Especially if you have 20ml or 30ml vials and have to draw from it a lot before it's empty. I usually draw with a 21g.

I use a 25G 1 in, and bodean is right I have 18G and it tears the shit out of the rubber. If you are trying to inject your first time stick to glutes and delts, just my opinion. If you are lean enough you could get away with back loading an insulin syringe you just have to warm up the oil a ton but I wouldn't do it, you really have to push the needle in to get it to go deep enough(even if you are lean) almost to the point where you have an indent on your skin.

I draw with 20g and pin with 25g. If its your first cycle, I would start off pinning pecs. Glutes are always simple to ease yourself into pinning.

You can use the 30, lots do it. You'll probably need to warm the oil first though. The 1/2 inch needle probably means the injection will be subcutaneous rather than intramuscular, but thats OK.

ive never once had an 18 tear anything whatsoever... i do exactly the same protocol as angelo does... draw with an 18 gauge 1 " and pin with a 25 gauge 1 "... delts, quads and ventrogluteal are my sites that i rotate...

Everybody has their preferences. I just draw with a 22g and inject with a 25g. Works great for me.

Ive never had this happen either but ive read of other people complaining about this before so i figure better safe then sorry.

Great! Sounds like i'll use a 25 instead of the 23. And, i'll run it by my guy about using an 18 to draw with a chance of the rubber stopper on the vial being damaged. This site is awesome, lots of support and confiding.
