MrChristian is still around, just not lifting

Hi guys!

I've been MIA for a couple weeks due to a gnarly episode of tendinitis in my left elbow. This is the first time I've dealt with anything like this and it SUCKS. So I've been doing cardio most days, but not lifting at the moment. It's driving me CRAZY!

Anyway, I just wanted to say "hi" and let you know I'm still around. I've been icing the arm, soaking in epsom salt, using tiger balm and I've also got a compression sleeve arriving in the mail tomorrow.

I have decided to delay my planned first cycle until the arm is healed. It doesn't make a ton of sense to start the cycle until I can actually lift something. LOL

I shall prevail! ;)

It's good to hear from you brother! I know it sucks to not be able to lift, but you'll be back at it no time. I hope you recover soon and get back to killing it!

Who are you again? Lol

I know, right? This is horribly frustrating. Good news is that I can hopefully learn from this and help others with similar problems in the future. I had no idea that this type of thing takes so long to heal!

is anything helping?

I would also try doing some light weights to get some blood to the affected area. it will help it heal

It does seem to be getting better. But it's VERY slow going. Or maybe I'm just impatient. I've been doing stretching exercises, but no light weights yet. Maybe I'll start doing some of that, provided it doesn't cause too much pain. I still haven't visited the doctor yet, mostly because I figure they'll just charge me a few hundred dollars and tell me to do exactly what I'm already doing. LOL

Thanks Dylan and Rick! I'll be back at it as soon as possible. The sooner the better. I've never done so much cardio in my life! LOL

ok man im glad its getting better at least. but i would definitely try light weights, and by light i mean VERY light, high reps, getting that serious burn and engorging msucles.tendons with blood for healing/repair. it will help a lot. but if you do a movement/exercise that causes pain switch immediately, or if it is too much weight lower it immediately, just find what you can do with how much weight to stimulate and get a pump without Pain to help facilitate healing.
