Thanks! Yes 2ml is the biggest shot i have pinned and in fact it was the first time pinning 1ml too.. My first cycle was only 300mg per week over 2 shots Tuesday/Friday so each shot was only .6ml so may be the combination of the bigger jabs in relatively fresh muscle and the thicker oil caused the problems. I have seen people mention PIP loads of times but this is the first time experiencing any.

I'm going to pin again in the morning and i will try warming the oil up first this time. I just spoke to the Mrs on the phone and she says she puts it in like a dart. I asked her if she was sure she jabbed the same place and she says she did but the swelling looked up high to me when i looked in the mirror Hmmmm Anyway its improving by the hour and the pain is virtually gone now.

Yes EVO started to suck! That's why i stopped going on EVO and to be honest i kinda gave up with forums altogether after being on there for a while.

Sounds normal to me as well, and what everyone said is right on...sounds like typical pip...as long as no fever, redness enlarging in circumference, getting hotter, a knot that keeps growing and including pain that isn't subsiding, etc., he should be just fine...

So next question is... In your experience does the PIP usually fade away over the weeks during the cycle or should i expect the PIP every time i shoot this gear?

The injection sites never got red and i always felt ok with no fever ect but it did swell up quite a bit, more so on the Test Norma injection. it was uncomfortable lying on my back in bed and i could not roll over properly for 2 nights.

he may have hit a bad spot on the injection sites etc... its hard to say but it is nothing serious and nothing new etc... its not like we don't see this on a daily basis.. i don't care how long you've been pinning, you can easily make an error, fuck i still do at times and i know many others that do as well... its just part of this...

It doesn't sound like anything bad to me....sounds fairly normal. One thing I'm confused on is why he did two injections....one for test in one flute, and one for EQ in the other glute. He should have just put all 3ml into one syringe and injected at one site. At least his pip would have been half of what it is now

Thanks Angelo, the swelling died down yesterday and the pain has nearly all gone now.. Thankfully!

First off thanks for all the answers, opinions and advice. It was me that had these issues and i mailed Hipo about it yesterday. Hipo recommended that i join and speak to you guys myself. I give Hipo a HUGE thank you for posting on my behalf. It really put me at ease reading the comments yesterday.

Good news this morning is - the swelling has gone down and in fact has pretty much gone all together! But it still feels a little tender around the area. Kinda bruised feeling but there is absolutely no marks or discoloration etc.

This is only my 2nd cycle and i never experienced any pain what so ever first time round. (I was pinning Test E twice a week for 16 weeks) So when this happened days after the first jabs i started to freak out a little, but i'm feeling much more comfortable now.

Ha ha I only have 2ml barrels and i wasn't sure if it was ok to pin in the same area twice, So done both glutes.

I remember ive had bad PIP a few times, and early on in my early days of AAS use i always flipped out and thought the worse thinking infection. After time went on i came to realize that PIP can occur anytime, with any compounds and any experience level, as there are many variables behind the actual cause of PIP. I have antibiotics on hand in case of the slightest sign of infection, which by remaining very sterile i have never had to use as of yet thankfully.

I don't fancy shooting more than 2ml in one go. 2ml seems a lot to me lol maybe in time once i get used to it... maybe haha

I get all my Pinning gear for free. I just go into my local pharmacy and ask for a sports pack 2. Inside the pack is 25x21 gauge needles, 25x23 gauge needles, 25x2ml barrels, 25x alcohol wipes, sharps bin and they will give you as many packs as you want. They also give you free bacteriostatic water if you want or need it. If you ask for a sports pack 1 that has the 1ml slin pin/barrels in it.

True, at first PIP can make one worry and usually the concern is from possible infections. Just make sure to ALWAYS,ALWAYS keep everything as sterile as possible with alcohol wipe everything including the top of your via and especially the injection sites. That way next time if you experience PIP you will know right away that you can rule out any infection, peace of mind. And remember that pinning usually becomes easier/smoother with time and experience as well

It was the Test that caused the most swelling and pain but both were absolutely fine when injecting with no pain at all.. it was the next day that things started to get uncomfortable. Its all feeling good now though.

I pinned around 30 mins ago and so far so good. I done things different this morning. I filled 2 barrels mixing the EQ & Test and i warmed both oils up before drawing up and pinning.

I pulled up 1ml of EQ then .5ml of Test into each. I done one shot this morning and i will do the other on Monday then continue Monday/Thursday for the rest of the cycle.
That will give me 400mg EQ and 250mg Test E per week and ill see how that goes. Only thing i would ask is the best way to store the other shot until Monday. Just now i have it in an air tight container is that ok? or should i keep it in the fridge?

After PHURIOUS mentioned the test crystallizing i went and googled that and read up a bit. It mentioned that drops in temperature can cause crystallization so i'm thinking the fridge is a bad idea....!
