you can always use an 18g filtered needle, i use those to load everything including both amps and vials

What you are doing is compromising sterility big time, and your risk of infection is very high. This is extremely important

17 is way too big too. You can take chunks out of the stopper with that big harpoon and leave it in the vial and accidently draw it up. Not good. Draw with a 22 and inject with a 25

I ended up getting a free box of 1in 23g pins so I have a bunch of extras so i always grab 2. One for loading one for pinning. They are so cheap why not. No point in risking it. I tend to be extra cautious. Imagine my shock when i saw my friend not use any alcohol on the vial or arm. 😨

Consider myself lucky. I use the same pin size 23 to load for about 8 shots. But a new pin size 25 to inject each time. I'll start loading with a new pin each time now as well.

No , I'm 15 but the TRT Dr, told me to use 1 1/2 in the glute. So I got 75 spears,now. Looking like dart ass, that's why lookin to quad instead , but think 1 1/2 is to long.
 
I pretty much stick with 1 1/4" 23g for loading, pinning, swordfighting, anything you can think of. It's small enough to not feel like a #2 pencil is hanging out of your ass, and big enough to let pretty much any oil flow through quickly. As far as using two pins for loading and injecting, it's really a matter of preference. Medical industry will say same pin for both, while common sense tells you you'll have less PIP with a brand new pin. Either way, alcohol wipes are cheap.

Just don't pin in an unsterile atmosphere and keep your ass clean, it's really up to you after that.
