I'm not a big fan of coconut but this drink is not bad at all if your on the go and need a post workout drink. 40 grams of whey iso, 160 calories zero sugar, aspartame, lactose, 60mg potassium, 10,240mg of BCAA's, taste pretty good ice cold

It's not a very good/quality source of protein though. All protein is not created equal

I just created an AMAZING mix at truenutrition.com. I am severely lactose intolerant - as in eating a single milk chocolate bar is enough lactose to turn me into an airborne biological weapon of mass destruction. That said, the cold filtered whey isolate from truenutrition is actually 100% lactose free. I have tried other protein sources that say they are lactose free, but that only means they are 99.9% lactose free, which is still too much lactose for me.

Anyway, the mix I made is 85% Cold Filtered Whey Isolate, 10% Brown Rice Isolate, 5% psyllium husk powder, and I used the chocolate-peanut butter flavoring. It is, by far, the best mix I have made there. I think I will never try another. I did like the all natural banana flavoring also, but the problem is that it is made with real bananas that have been turned into a powder. While that sounds great, I end up with small chunks of reconstituted banana in my drink and that bothers me. If it does not bother you, I can highly recommend the all natural banana flavoring as well.

True nutrition is awesome with its versatility on building your own protein the way you want it. It's the perfect way to go if there is a specific ratio of things you want. The customization is virtually endless there

Im gonna try some since I'm running low. I went with the Vanilla Cake Batter heavy flavor !

Im pumped, I did a blend of whey and casein ( cheap kinds to start ) but then I did about 10% fiber because I like when a shake fills me up a little because I only use water primarily, plus can never have too much fiber !

Keep posting these guys ! I just did 100 percent grass fed chocolate peanut butter , not bad at all but I know next batch it will be more of a mix and hopefully a lil better flavor . I do still enjoy this blend I got and it mixes well , a bit foamy at the end but still really good. I love vanilla flavors but can't stand them in protein powder for some reason . So any good chocolate recipes would be much appreciated and peanut butter ones as well .

I'll let you know how it is brother. I usually use half water and half unsweetened vanilla almond milk (30 cals / cup ) Stevia is already in the protein which I'm completely okay with, and I'll mess around with a few concoctions and keep it posted!

I picked up some True nutrition (MILK) Vanilla birthday cake and the double fudge brownie (casein) 1 scoop of each as an afterwork out. Its honestly not the best protein I have had, ive tried the isopure a few years ago and it mixes very well and thin, muscle tech nitrotech a few years before that, mixes thick as well as EAS it was like drinking fucking pancake batter, literally chewed it down. so I cant complain about the True nutrition taste and mix and it was cheap I didn't go all out with the additives or grass fed and all that ill leave that to you big money bags boys, id much rather get my protein from chicken or sirloin or tuna. but it'll do in a pinch for sure when ur away from home and to get something in you quick after a workout.

I had isopure for the first time about 3 months ago. The flavor was grape and it was so bad that I threw the bottle onto the high way while I was driving. I'm sure if that had caused an accident people would have understood. "Ah grape Isopure, nothing to see here folks. Move it along"

Hahahaha. That's a thick bottle too. That thing will do damage on a hwy lol.

Grape is terrible I stick to the blue one. That's about all I can handle. I like the black tea too.

I had just had a savage workout and I was not only needing protein but I had a mouth like the Sahara. I forgot my bag so I stopped at Vitamin Shoppe and this was HIGHLY recommended by the skinny tool working there. I slammed a good bit of it as if it was going to taste like grape Kool Aid before making that Peter Griffin frozen in disgust face.

Book, Cover. Never judge lol.
