Is this all we have to look forward to in NCAA FBS football this week????

Lol I know, please remember that the second week of every year's football season is always the worst scheduled weekend. Love my Ducks tho...!

Oh I am a Duck fanatic... I have genuine team player cleats and the Duck Foamposites (real OG not fakes), but damn guess after this game it'll be a day at the movies...

I remember reading that you were a huge Ducks fan... Still, I enjoy nothing more than watching Oregon put up 77 on most of their opponents. I played in the ACC myself, and even though my favorite squads are Miami, FSU and Oregon, it wasn't always fun playing against Virginia. Lot of physical dudes on their teams, as evident by the amount of guys they put in the NFL. Oregon can still be tested.

i already like you a lot bro... you have listed all of my top teams besides iowa... i have been an fsu fan since i was 5... obviously im from iowa so they are my team but oregon is neck and neck with them... ive been with oregon since joey harringtons days as qb but i grew up with florida state and miami rivalries and although i was always a huge fsu fan, i still had this thing where i just like miami... my top 3 are iowa/oregon at 1 and fsu firmly at 3 while miami is absolutely in my top ten... Oregon and Iowa are both not getting the respect they deserve but honestly, i prefer it that way... when expectations are a bit lower and you feel the disrespect, you have a huge chip on your shoulder and you play with something to prove...

WTF was with the play calling by Auburn in that game? Late in the game in Clemson's end and they're running it right up the middle for 1-2 yards. THROW A FREAKIN' PASS!

My 11 year old nephew's soccer team could have defended that.

Dylan, you're my guy -- we have quite a lot in common! Much love to you, bro. I'm from Nebraska myself so my family always wants to see Nebraska/Iowa do well. However, I began following sports as a child by watching Miami, FSU, Florida, Texas and Duke basketball -- so those are the teams I ride with forever. My first football game was Charlie Ward & the Noles playing The U, and I've been hooked on Miami's swagger ever since. My love for Oregon and their Nike brilliance also started for me during the Harrington days (who was robbed of the Heisman and a National Title shot against my Hurricanes who stomped... go figure, Nebraska).

Oregon has lost so much talent on both sides of the ball, plus implementing a new defensive coach and scheme, so I'll temper my expectations for them right now. Iowa, however, plays another soft schedule with the most experienced team in the BigTen so I've picked them to win the conference. I'm sure Kirk Ferentz is plenty happy with how his team is viewed right now. I will place the Hawkeyes on upset alert this week against Iowa State -- very close game last year, and I expect the same this weekend.

Kirk Ferentz is a bad ass. Texas????? Bro you are a dedicated fan. I know your QB btw... Tommy Armstrong Jr., he went to high school down the street. 2010 5A State Champs. He just has to watch those throws off his back foot...

crazy shit here... both of us being midwest guys... you know the norm... fucking cubs fans, bears, vikings, big ten, big 8 LOL i mean big 12... i love the big ten but beyond that, i cant stand midwest teams... i dont like the twins or the royal or the fucking cubs etc... its crazy though how we like the same exact football teams... im not a big florida fan because of fsu and miami but our top teams are the shit man! miami is finally on their way back to being something again and fsu has a very very legitimate chance to win it all... i had picked them preseason to take it all and im sticking with that pick...

i look forward to but also dread the iowa state game every year... it doesn't matter how good iowa is, somehow, some way, those dirty fucking cyclones find a way to give them trouble... iowa state is so piss poor at football... clearly, northern iowa beats them every year and they are obviously fcs.. the games iowa has that im looking at are against wisconsin and michigan but im worried about penn state and nebraska... they are two teams that are sneaky good this year... iowa has the experience and if they can run like they were showing, that allows beathard to shred defenses... im not saying this just because i am an iowa fan but beathard is a top ten qb in all of college this year... i better stop because i could probably talk sports with you all day long... LOL we are going to have to chat some sports sometime bro...

Now there's a gutsy call; Iowa for the win over Michigan State and Ohio State?

I still to this day can't believe Charlie Ward was never drafted into the NFL.
