I have to disagree, HGH will increase his height to some extent provided his growth plates are not closed which is a very real possibility at 18. It will also aid in your recovery. Steroids however will close your growth plates quicker and not aid your recovery very much, it can also keep your HPTA from fully developing.
HGH will have no effect on height once growth plates have been fused so that is why everyone is telling you it wont have an effect.
Regardless HGH is associated with risks of its own and im not knowledgeable enough to say whether your age will play a factor in that risk, if i had to guess i would say no, but thats only a guess.
