That doesnt matter. What u have done is piss off a nerve or some soft tissue. The swelling and redness is normal w this and it can travel anywhere in that area. Ive had this happen before ice it and advil and just let it rest. More lifting will only agrvate it firther couple days it will be gons

If u had an infection you would know it. It would look like a huge pimple with a white puss center and your fever would spike. Like 103 temp or higher. U have a small fever now just from the inflamation. Kinda like andro flu.

I would just keep an eye on it, and make sure it doesn't become infected or anything. You had a bad injection but I wouldn't worry too much unless it worsens.
Probably injected into scar tissue or something which can do all of that

^Yep use ice, then heat + advil. Repeat til swelling and redness is gone. Should take anywhere from 2 days to a week to subside. Could be due to virgin muscle or incorrect pinning methods. You will know if its an infection if its soft and mushy, especially if you see puss or liquid oozing. If you notice any of this then go ahead and visit your nearest urgent care center or you personal physician, they will give you some antibiotics if needed.
^Same here, many years ago. Also was a delt injection, thought it was an infection started freaking out lol. Went to urgent care center, gave me antibiotics just in case. It went away with heat and ice, no issues. Never even used the antibiotics they gave me,
I believe the scientific term for what you may have here is a superficial abscess or sterile abscess. Its septic abscesses that people should be very concerned with. Pictures would help if you have some, please post

To be honest i only know of and seen one person that goes to my gym had and actual septic abscess in his ass cheek from re using his dam needles like an idiot. His shit was all red and green and yellow, and had white/clear and yellow puss oozing it was disturbing. He ended up going to the urgent care after a few of us at the gym had to tell him go seek medical attention, and they gave him 2 different types of meds one was an antibiotic and not sure of the other (cant remember was a long time ago). That shit weirded me out so much ever since that day forward i always kept my shit EXTREMELY sterile (even tho im sure i was already properly sterilizing what was needed). This included wiping EVERYTHING with alcohol including vial tops and the counter top in the bathroom where i do my pinning.
