Hey Dylan, I need help on getting my body fat down. What kind of diet do you recommend. I am 5'11, 233lbs, and work out about 3-5 days a week.

you need to eat at a deficit, at least 300 calories below maintenance... clearly im not going to sit here and write you out a diet plan dude, thats not anything anyone is going to do unless you hire a nutritionist... i would eat 50-55% protein, 30% carbs and 10-15% fats...

I bought a fit bit for that reason. It has an app to your phone that acts as a continued log. You can enter your goal for weight gain or loss and it will adjust your calories accordingly. It seems pretty accurate to me. Tracks sleep and everything too. For me it has really helped.
 
For nearly 2 years I ate the same meals every day. I would switch it up occasionally but I stuck with the same meals so I could easily track calories. It's very simple... burn more calories than you eat.
 
Every body reacts to food differently what’s good for you can kill me. You need to see what’s works for you. What I did is I ate only white rice and see how my body reacted to it then brown rice then sweet Potato the white potato and so on. This is a marathon. I can cut with flexible dieting because I know how my body reacts to certain foods. If you keep it clean and do cardio you will reach your goals but to give you a meal plan it’s hard because it needs to be adjusted as you continue your goals. This is time and money. Start off with reading Rick Rick nutrition thread and start from there
