how many cheat meals a week while cutting

How many cheat meals a week do you guys have when cutting. I don't have many at the beginning of a cut since your body is burning the most fat then since metabolism is at its highest and you're not craving too much since you just bulked. But after a couple weeks and months it starts to set in, including plateaus. How many a week do y'all have

Zero, if you have a coach they should be looking at pics, analyzing numbers and making the decision as to whether or not you actually need a cheat to achieve goals. Scheduled cheats can be problematic in the rigors of prep. Others will say the exact opposite and of they have completed a full prep then they hold more water than I do. My coach fell off the face of the earth 10 weeks into prep and I found AR to convince me continuing was a bad move so now I am in a minibulk until January then it's back to hiring a coach and getting full on prep ready

If you are trying to cut, you need to take cheat meals completely out of the equation. A lot of guys try to justify cheat meals by saying they are needed to keep metabolism high. As you go along with a defecit over a,long period of time, they may be beneficial to you at certain points, but if fat loss is the goal you really shouldn't implement them until you absolutely have to. Once you get super lean you may be able to throw them in more often at once every 7-10 days or so but even everyone is different with that. For now you just need to forget them all together and stay focused on cutting

100% dead on. A cheat meal isn't a reward. You get a cheat meal when your coach says so. It's used when and if your body needs it.

Depends on the individual and how long the cut is going on. A refeed/loading day is needed here and there to keep leptin controlled/support your metabolism when you're in a deficit. I wouldn't classify it really as a cheat day but more like a high carb day since you're still wanting to eat clean.

per week? i would personally use 1 cheat meal per 2 weeks. so 2 a month. just to reload glycogen stores. but that is just for me personally and it has to be proper timing.

Honestly....I have a cheat meal once a week...then I feel terrible and I stay on point. It's usually like a snickers bar. Nothing too heavy. Just enough to pissed myself off!

3 years ago I was cutting, beside weights, I used to run 3-5 days per week. Every week I would lose 1-1.5lbs of fat. My cheat meal was on weekends going out with my gf. I would eat a lot, but all healthy stuff. So it was the quality, no quantity. I made exception only for ice cream, however that was needed and burned at night with my gf in bed. At that time I was fully natural and achieved great results.
