High Estrogen and Bloat?

One of the major symptoms I get when I realize I have higher than normal estrogen levels is my stomach gets easily bloated during/after meals. It can persist for a while as well.

I've also noticed, Clomid is raising my estrogen levels and when I switch to Tamoxifen, the estrogen significantly decreases. Any science/medicine behind this? I do understand Clomid can actually cause gyno in men and I'm taking it at 50mg/day.

you should only be using clomid in pct for one but im not sure the scenario since you really didn't explain... clomid messes with your HPTA by letting the hypothalamus think there is less estrogen than there really is so the body hyper secretes LH. You should be using aromasin in your pct to combat any estrogen etc but at 50 mg it should not be causing any sort of estrogen buildup HOWEVER, if your body is reacting that way then lower the dose to 25mg...

If you have higher than normal estrogen levels, you need to be taking an aromotose inhibitor like Aromasin for that. Clomid and Nolva are not AIs, and do not work that way. They block estrogen but do not lower it. And yes, while on Clomid you could definitely experience some estrogen rebound since it does not lower it. Are you on cycle, in PCT, or neither?

Am currently on PCT from a 16 week Prohormone cycle. I'm in the middle of my third week. A little background is necessary here. I was on TRT a couple years ago and learned it suppressed me enough upon a sperm sample I hardly had any swimmers whatsoever. Made me very nervous as I do want to start a family in the future so I consulted a fertility specialist. Upon taking HCG and Clomid I got my sperm count back up to normal. When I first started taking Clomid it seemed it really increased my Testosterone and felt great on it. After 3-4 months on the Clomid/HCG Protocol I stopped and went back on TRT with HCG, the Clomid started to really give me estrogen issues after taking it for awhile. Now whenever I take Clomid I don't get the same Testosterone boosting effects. Might just stick with organ support and continuing TRT during my Post Cycles from here on out.

you do realize that extended use of hcg causes a big increase of estrogen right? that's way too long to be using hcg brother

why exactly are you taking Clomid/Nolva??

Youre using HCG way too long man. Have you ran any blood work to confirm your theory on the bloat? May seem like a silly question, but guys always say they feel this way or that way.. but when they run blood work things are much different. And if you want to have kids, why are you getting back on TRT???

Also, 16 weeks on PH's!?! Seems a little reckless bro, but maybe Im missing something.

im hoping that was a misprint or something as i didn't notice that... 16 weeks on prohormones HAS GOT to be a misprint, please tell me so...

first things off .i would look into an ai to get your estro levels in check. nothing you are using is a real ai.

No misprint on the 16 weeks, however I only ran oral Prohormones for 4 weeks at a time and in between orals I ran transdermal prohormones (non-methylated compounds). I got 2 different blood tests while on the cycle and all was in working order as I took high amounts of TUDCA the entire cycle with a potent On-Cycle Support by my friends Olympus Labs. All the prohormones I used and compounds were from Olympus Labs, place is very legit if you don't know about them. Am giving blood a week from tomorrow and then get bloodwork done early January from my TRT doctor to see where I'm at.

Figured out taking an AI is really helping my situation and if I take it before bed I wake up feeling awesome. BTW, one of my favorite AI compounds is never mentioned on this forum: Formestane. Love the stuff, ended up stocking up on it prior to the ban and it's a transdermal version as well.

not very smart at all and i hope noone else attempts to follow this... im glad you made it out okay but thats beyond wreckless... please noone else attempt to do this

Reason why you don't see formestane is most people don't like injecting an ai when there are far superior oral options....

Dude 16 weeks on prohormones... Jesus christ. I'd be interested to see what your bloods show.

Really not smart man

I,certainly hope you learned your lesson on abusing the prohormones bro. It's just not wise at all, and I wouldn't recommend anyone ever doing anything even close to that.

As for Formestane, I think it's ok. However I think Aromasin is far superior to it in every way

i completely agree... there's a reason you don't see formestane used much at all in comparison to aromasin and arimidex... its a far less superior option... i wouldn't use it at all...
