HGH and New Muscle Tissue

Hey guys,

I know a lot of you on this board probably use or have used HGH at some point.

Im just curious to know your opinion on -

Do you think HGH will only create new muscle tissue on a caloric surplus?

Thanks

I think it's just like AAS in that regard. It's possible to gain some muscle tissue on it in a deficit but I wouldn't rely on it, especially considering GH is relatively slow in that department in the first place. It typically gives nice body composition changes over time, but it is always diet dependent. That goes for anything, and GH is no different

Thanks for input Rick, its an interesting thought, people claim 6 months minimum for results, in my own mind my conclusion is same as yours, more would be expected on caloric surplus / bulk.

Seeing how MGF is the hormone that helps create new muscle tissue, and it is a variant of IGF-1 (which if dosing HGH is going to increase) so yes, you can create new muscle especially with a caloric surplus.

bro, this tends to be common sense... the more intake the more size you can get... now, the cleanliness of that size and sustainability would be dependent on the cleanliness of your diet but don't be mistaken, you don't need a huge surplus to gain size... you need to understand more so the science of your own anatomy and physiology... how you react to, for instance, protein intake at 2 grams per lb. etc... or perhaps your reaction to carbs on different levels... i have found the ability to eat at a deficit yet still gain size and good size... it comes down to dialing in your own reactions to food sources... its not easy to figure out but when you do, you can work wonders on yourself... hgh goes in stages of what you see from it as well and thats important to understand... Here's part 1 of the video series i did on hgh https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=akQEO5i7FKU

From my understading only protein and protein synthesis creates new muscle tissue. But GH, AAS etc may increase the speed at which the body performs this task. For example, no matter how high a dosage of any compound, without protein you will not create any muscle tissue.

it certainly makes it quite difficult... its the right combination of supplementation of food with the added enhancement of compound to correlate into the big gain... protein is the key to growth but carbs and fats play a large factor as well.. the right combination (which is variant from person to person) is essential... one thing i changed was raising my carbs, which are not high by any means but coming from extremely minimal has done wonders along with general overall feeling... too low of carbs is extremely detrimental and its not sustainable whatsoever... that's why all those fad diets, like atkins for example, were not around too long because its not a sustainable way to live whatsoever... Protein intake is essential to growth though, very correct in your statement

I did Atkins for about a year. After a month, I started to shed weight like crazy. I could eat 5000 calories a day with only 20 min of cardio, 5 days a week and I could not put on fat. Bacon, hamburgers(no bun of course), cheese. It didn't matter. I will tell you, the first 3 weeks were miserable. I was weak all the. Always wanted to sleep. It sucked but once my body recognized that carbs were no longer it's fuel, I felt good and full of energy. My body learned to use the fat for energy so I was storing none if it. I was burning it before it went into reserves. I tried to do the diet a few years later and I couldn't get through the first 10 days. I was too weak and tired.

As if i haven't watched all of your videos Dylan haha!

Great information in there, and you need to keep them coming!

So the general conscious is that -

Yes, you can create new muscle tissue in a caloric deficit with HGH, just like increasing muscle tissue size with anabolic steroids. But they key is finding the balance point with your body, like Dylan said, finding the sweet spot for YOUR body where you gain size and burn fat.

HOWEVER, more can be expected from both HGH and anabolic steroids in a caloric surplus (clean of course)

Yep, I would say that a pretty fair assessment buddy

your not the only one... its not anything that is sustainable whatsoever and its just not good for you in general... its a fad diet that was not intended to last you basically forcing you to attempt to stay on it however it was so detrimental to overall health it could not be sustained for long periods of tiime

i believe it... it takes everything out of you and then some... the fact you made it through that long the first time is a fucking miracle but im glad you stopped the second time as abruptly as you did because there is nothing good that will come from it

Never again. It's too hard to make it through early on. Plus I don't know the long term effects of all that saturated fat. Not worth it.
