I have been doing my research of hair loss products and DHT blockers. I know how you feel about Finastride. I'm leaning towards Dutasteride what is your opinion?

Dutasteride is much stronger than Finasteride. As a finasteride user I would never touch dutasteride.

They both have their pros and cons. But the cons FAR outweigh the pros in my opinion. Stick with a good Keto Shampoo, Possibly some Rogaine, Biotin, Eat Healthy, and that will be your best and safest option. Just my .02

i completely agree.. they are just not worth it... there is FAR too much risk... you can easily do a little research and see just how many people have had SEVERE problems.. you can do whatever you want and you will always find people that tell you they are fine to run but im telling you, ive seen it FAR too many times, the negative effects it can have and its not even close to worth it....

Dutasteride inhibits both type 1 and type 2 5-reductase.. It is about 3 times as potent as finasteride at inhibiting type 2 5-reductase and more than 100 times as potent at inhibiting the type 1 5-reductase enzyme.

Wouldn't that be good then? Lol I'm 33 and thinning. It's now or never situation and I'm not trying to shave my head yet.

you make your own decisions... noone here is your dad but i would urge you to dig a little into post finasteride syndrome... i have clients that have it... their lives are ruined because of it... NEVER the same with no cure for it...

So what do you suggest? That's why I joined this Forum. You seem very knowledgeable on allot of different topics and I appreciate the help.

DHT is a good thing and healthy for muscles , brain, libido but not the prostate. Sure dutasteride is better for hairloss but it's chemical castration in my opinion. Finasteride works plenty well and still leaves enough DHT to maybe not cause bad sides. Like Dylan said others have serious serious issues with it.
