GW and cardio newbie

I am new to this world and for my first experience I am trying out some GW. I've done some searching around on here as well as google but I am not sure if I have seen the answer yet.

With just GW, is HIIT > Steady cardio? Does it matter? Should I be switching it up throughout the week between the two?
So far I have done about 40 mins on a elliptical (yesterday) and 20 minutes of HIIT this morning. Today is day 3 for me on GW, 20mg.

Just trying to make the most of this before I dive deeper into the rabbit hole so to speak. I am hoping to see some gut chub removal before the bottle runs out so I can determine a path to continue on. I am just starting back up on weight lifting and I am doing full body work outs 2-3 times a week and mixing in cardio as I can. I will be in a calorie deficit while doing this.

5'10"
192lbs
26% fat (per scale) self done calipers has me closer to 18%... just looking at myself i would put myself around low 20s%

Also any other advise would be greatly appreciated.

No matter what kind of cardio you do, you are going to reap the benefits of GW. So whatever works for you off of it, is going to work even better on it. I personally prefer more steady state cardio myself since my high intensity resistance training stresses my CNS enough as it is. Also since GW raises endurance considerably, you may notice more of a benefit on longer endurance based sessions over short high intensity bursts. It's not a bad thing to throw in a HIIT session every now and then, but I think you might be able to fair better with more steady state than HIIT

(PM me for a price list for Biotech Labs and 10% discount)

I do both SS and HIIT cardio. Like RR I have to watch the HIIT due to lifting heavy compounds the rest of the week. I find GW helps both fairly equal. I personally find HIIT to be a lot less boring than SS and can get out of gym quicker but it just hinders my squat/deadlift if I'm not careful. Good luck bro!

Yeah I think i will reserve HIIT days for my none weight lifting days for that reason. Thanks guys!

the best thing you can do is continuously mix them in with each other... GW is going to have a more drastic effect on steady state and steady state is nice to have as the base so you want to do about 70% of your cardio in a more steady state while mixing in 30% of HIIT and explosive intervals etc...

At the current bf% you are at I would focus in the long steady state and it would be beneficial to get a HR monitor and log your daily progress it is essential for actually tracking progress and evaluating yourself and that is what this is all about being brutally honest with yourself so you can progress into the beautiful unicorn you desire

i agree with everything, especially about the unicorn... LOL no seriously, all good points and definitely what i would follow bro

I don't believe the 26% from the scale more like 18 if you are that thin at 5'10 if that but I guess it depends on the person as well

And I've used all HR and gps watches if you needed help in that department from fenix , 910xt Polaris ambit and I can also help with shoes compression theory etc ...

Agree. Steady state. Build a base and burn fat. All in one. Run the GW for sure. It will help tons. Get a heart rate monitor. All good advice.

I have both the 3 is kinda my walk around watch the 920 is awesome I also agree but it's hefty and I would suggest getting the 910 purely off of cost for jumping into this business

I actually do use a monitor, it was one i bought at Sports Authority with the watch and chest strap, Polar i think is the brand. The chest strap just this morning started bugging out on me despite replacing the battery so I will check out the ones you all listed as an replacement. Just did about 34 mins of SS cardio this morning and noticed my 1st change so to speak with GW. My HR never got super high 150s pretty constant where as before i would climb into the 160s and hit 170 before having to walk. I felt like i was going further before my walking chunks, and i was walking much less to catch my breath. This is a run i was doing about 6 months ago where i was getting sub 30 mins for the same distance so we shall see how i can progress with the help of GW :)

Here is a picture of where i am sitting sucking it in a flexed lol.. idk if BF% can be estimated via visual with just one picture

my guess is 10-13 or so but I aint no damn pro at that shit lol id take it, I am about 20 would like 10-15

Yeah I have no clue how to estimate BF haha that why i was trying to error on the high side. Like i said though i was sucked in a flexing, normal sitting it looks like a beer belly to me. Kind of thinking i need to add some planking and stomach vacuums perhaps to stop the gut poking out syndrome lol.

lol ya maybe, but flexed I would say 13-14 but either damn way man you look fine and its only going to get better with cardio and yes add those core strength exercises

Man I am glad i found this place. I appreciate all the feedback and help from everyone on here so far. Great place and thanks for welcoming me :)
