Going under the knife, be out of the gym for four weeks!!

Thinking of starting a cycle of 400mg test for 12 weeks the day before surgery. End goal is just to preserve muscle mass, not necessarily to make gains. If I can maintain my mass it will be successful cycle in my opinion. Any thought positive or negative, have I gone off my rocker?

I wouldn't say it's the best idea..but if I were to do it a good trt dose should be enough to maintain

I'm paranoid, I haven't missed 3 days in a row for five years, a month is going to drive me nuts, knowing my ass I'll be in the gym in two just doing a basic deload routine just to maintain my sanity.

But AAS is primarily used to prevent muscle waisting for Aids patients. Shit it works for them why wouldn't it hold over me, while I recover. Seems they actually gain muscle mass while on Anavar, lol

I personally wouldn't. I've done it and regardless of the extra androgens, you'll lose size and strength without resistance training. I had hand surgery and couldn't train at all for over a,month, and limited for 4 more weeks after that. I went on 500mg test and I honestly don't think it would have mattered any more than to just stay at regular levels.

Since you never take time off you're getting paranoid about it which I can understand. I take 10 days off for my body every 3 months, which is beneficial. It's when you start going over a couple weeks that you'll see the atrophy no matter what if you aren't training to keep it

Th good news is muscle memory is a fucking wonderful thing bro. Trust me. Once I could train at 100% after 8 weeks, I regained everything I lost on size and strength probably within 3 weeks I'd say.

I would actually, take the SARMS approach. Train right up until day of surgery, and I would use MK2866 , GW & SR9009 to keep the fat gain to a minimum. Each has its role & all preserve muscle. When I finally go in for mine, that's what I plan to use. Hope it helps.

I have had 13 surgery over the years and never missed more the a week at the gym. I have had both hands/ arms/ wrist in casts and if you be creative and do diffent type of work out of way less weights and more reps no matter how small the weights it helps. Even if you can only work out one arm or one leg the other wil naturally try to maintain the same size.
So dont just give up get creative !!!!
