Friday Night Lights!!!!!!

I know most of you Texas and southern boys know how Friday nights are in the South with High School football. Well my Niceville Eagles are in the 2nd round of the playoffs tonight hopefully with way to a win and a step closer to the Division 1-6A championship game. I think we have been to the state finals 4 times in the last 6 years. Of course I am biased but our high school rocks. I don't have a kid that plays there anymore but I have one in the band. Do you guys support your local High Schools?

My old high school football team sucks. The last time they made the playoffs was my senior year and that was in 99. Anybody that has any real talent leaves to play ball in the nicer surrounding areas. Slums....... full of meth and heroin

its seems like rooting for the ny yankees. Everyone likes rooting for the underdog bro. not a team that has went to the finals 4 out of 6 years lol

it depends where you live really.some places are big high school, some big college football areas.. some are stricky pros.

in nyc there is no college football following what so ever. but if you go down to georgia...its a whole different ballgame

I love football....I recently got into college football because of Dylan and I love it! We actually went to the Rose Bowl and the National Title game last year and it was the most exciting event I have ever been to (well except my wedding lol). Other than that, I was always into the NFL because of Peyton Manning...not so much this year though, he is looking horrible.

ya well we had about 12 thousand people on hand last night for this in town rivalry for the playoffs. I was nervous and excited but the INT in the 4th qtr put a nail in the coffin for our opponents. We win 30-21. keep home field advantage for the next round.
We will be attending the Rose Bowl parade next year 2017 our band was invited to play in it so me and the old lady are gonna make a lil mini vaca with that trip.

Very true. That was one of the things that jumped out @ me when I moved in 2014.

Lost only 7 games in my 4 years of high school .... Small town football at its finest in NC .... I love my high school and haven't missed many games since leaving in 06... GO STALLIONS

Shit i guess i shoulda updated yall, We won last Friday so tonite will be 3rd round of the playoffs, with the winner advancing to the state semi finals. Even though its effin 70 degrees i still get butterflies about goin to the games. living vicariously through those little bastards since my son isnt playing anymore lol i love it. the Boys of Fall baby all night tonite
