First post introduction and blood work

Hi Dylan and gurus,

I've been researching low test levels because I've been suffering symptoms lately - the usual, lack of energy, libido, visceral fat, hard gaining....

So I went to my local GP for bloodwork. I didn't get a copy of the results, but the ones that stood out and I remember was the total @ 218, the sex binding @ 68 and free was somewhere in the 16 range. Yeah. Shitty. No wonder I feel like I do.

Had HDL and LDL checked and they are great, but creatinine levels were really high - like in the 60's - so those are going to be retested, something wasn't right there.

As background, I'm 47, 6"0, 82kg (that's around 190lb), around 18% bf of which 90% has gone to my waistline, been gyming always but mostly athletic/endurance and not muscle growth or aesthetics.

So the levels are really crappy low, but the doc is just not keen on starting trt. Which really doesn't bother me because I wouldn't want the expense of pharma grade anyways, we have some fairly reputable UGL's in my country (SA) that are a better bet, so I'm thinking of going self medication route.

Now where I need a little help from the gurus - I've looked at the benefits of subQ injecting, I think it would be easier initially to do this and am happy with the theory about a slower absorption leading to a smoother level, and am thinking of a starting dose around 125mg of sustanon 250 a week or even the supertest 600 to get me to the 650-750 level - obviously the more concentrated the less volume, right? And I would prefer a smaller volume. Will these work subQ and are there any dangers I should watch out for?

Thanks guys,

Mark

Welcome to the forum!

First, I would recommend doing some weight lifting and trying to lower your bf % before going this route. Both of these have the potential to raise your testosterone levels naturally and help you with the symptoms your feeling. The lifting is something you're going to want to make a habit, so might as well start now. On top of this, I advise you to do a lot of research into TRT. It's a big decision to make, and you'll want to be well informed. It's good you're on this forum, as you'll find a lot of valuable information.

As for the subq injections and concentrated substance, I wouldn't recommend them. I've read about subq being absorbed very slowly and leaving a painful lump at the injection site for a week or two. It might not be bad with low volume though. Hopefully others can add input. I've also read that the higher the concentration, the more pip you'll get. I'd look more into it though. Hell, you can ask the doctor for input. Going through them for TRT might even be worth the extra cost, as they'll help you along the way.

Thanks for the reply 300, I do appreciate it!

Yeah, I've been lifting now for about a year concentrating on heavy compounds for maximum stimulation and test production, and have been supplementing with tribulus, etc.... And I'm still just above 200 total test....

The main symptoms I've been having are intolerable, the depression, lack of energy, etc just aren't working for me - the visceral fat and slow muscle gains really aren't a big thing, I'm well above average physique as it is, so I think I'm doing it for the right reasons.

As far as the pip goes, I kinda like the idea of injecting 0.25ml of supertest 500 through an insulin needle into belly fat, than 1ml of a normal potency solution with a 22 gauge 1" into a glute .... But I'm after optimal...

I would not recommend self medicating at all. There's a lot more to it than just injecting some test and calling it a day. There are a very large complex array of hormones at play that are all affected by TRT treatment that require continuous monitoring with proper bloodwork by a medical professional. I would seek out a qualified endocrinologist rather than your personal doctor

if your doctor is not willing to give you trt with that level then he is, for lack of better terms, a complete fucking moron... are you in Saudi Arabia? can you go to an endocrinologist?

Bump Rick.......DO NOT self medicate

Bump Dylan, find a competent TRT doc.

Hey folks, thanks for the advice!

@Dylan, not Saudi, worse, South Africa.... I've been asking on local boards if anyone knows of an endo that knows their stuff - seems that there are all of 2 in the entire country and both require a 2 hour flight to get there!

Truely screwed up.

Continue to seek an Endo bro... Self medicating can be very dangerous if you don't know what you're doing.

yeah bro, you really need to see a professional... sometimes you have to do what you have to do but its always best to try to get to a professional if possible
