Drinking a gallon to a gallon and a 1/2 of water each day

Water is important in the body there is not question about it, the body is 75-80% water the rest is chemical product. But if your body is not a accustom or specially your kidney's is danger, their can be an electrolytes imbalance and kidney failure in the worse case, just start slow until your kidney can metabolize all that volume. GO SLOW

I agree about spacing out these supplements, you are correct when saying there are so many pills to take and not only that, most of them are horse pills most of the time. I also make sure I have a little something on my stomach as well. Some of these supps's can do a job on your stomach if its empty.

yeah true. i always found it weird that usually medication is on empty stomach but any type of vitamins or herbal stuff is with food.

Another thing I notice and I am sure you guys experience this as well is some supplements I take cause my pee to come out a high yellow which also makes me think I am not getting enough water! Example Animal Pak does this to me as well as a few other GNC vitamin packs I may take, does the same thing. But your right just keep drinking water is the best route to take.

yeah ive had that happen to me before too. Be careful with that though because extra supplements/vitamins and stuff can put strain on your kidneys and dehydrate you more then normal - especially something like Animal Pack because there are so many pills. Stuff like Creatine also dehydrates me so I have to consume EXTRA water. I would just consume extra water in relation to how many supps you are taking. Also Not taking all the supps at once helps not be so taxing - space it out a bit through the day. For instance, i take half of my multi in morning, the other half in evening - this also helps with vitamin absorption because of vitamins that are Water Soluble you need a constant supply throughout the day - if you take excess Vit C for instance, you will just piss out the unused Vit C - which also may be a reason when you take Animal Pack your piss is weird yellow.

Very good point. It's always best to space things out during the day. It's just like your food intake. Your body will make better use of food, water, and supplements when everything is adequately spaced apart.

You definitely adequate amounts of water throughout the day but to say everyone needs a gallon is not right... its a good number to base things on but not everyone needs exactly that much... it definitely is too much for some and perhaps for some, not enough... I do know that it needs to be spaced properly... i see so many guys trying to slam a gallon in 20 minutes and that is not healthy to do whatsoever... spacing is important as has been pointed out and finding your personal point of adequacy...
