Since my glucose levels were a little high when I got my bloods done do you think I would benefit from a keto diet? Is there anyone that has some knowledge about this? My glucose was 105 after a 13hr fast

105, I would not worry about it and would not do a keto. All you need to do is eat a moderate amount of carbs and pay attention to the GI of evey carb you eat. Oatmeal, quinoa, bulgar wheat, sweet potats etc. No bread, white rice, pasta. Eat whole grains. Eat healthy fats.

Right I've been doing this, the diet I was given was 185/185/40 does that sound right and I plan most of my carbs around my workouts, I was 234 when I started this

That is kind of low calorie, but you could lower the carbs to 150-160 and up the fat a bit. But what you are doing is fine as long as the carbs aren't easter eggs

Actually I bumped my protien up to 210 carbs 185, and fats around 40 , sorry for the mistake its been this way for about a month and a half

Hahaha no my carbs come from brown rice, quinoa, brocilli and oats, I feel like I'm kinda stuck at the moment maybe a slight diet alteration?

Keto SUCKS in my opinion. I will never do it again.

Just keep fiber spread out evenly throughout the day, have balanced meals, and stay hydrated. You should be all good.

yes, keto sucks... your taking in basically no carbs ultimately feeling like complete and utter shit and not to mention, good luck taking a shit because that will be one of the issues you encounter, amongst so many others... there's far better ways and safer and more effective to diet... keto is not one of them... its not sustainable whatsoever

Dearly noted Dylan lol, looking into other options

wise decision... keep fiber intake up... eat every few hours... keep satiated but never over do it... keep your metabolism working throughout the day and keep carbs clean like you are... concentrate on more veggies other than broccoli... broccoli can cause bloating to a point especially when eating too much... try mushrooms, zuchini, green beans, spinach etc...

Try roasting some squash, butternut and spaghetti...they are off the hook good when they caramelize in the oven.
great...clean carb source with low GI

Definitely going to buy one of these

I have been eating them for years. You can microwave them if you are in a hurry ,but baked at 350F is awesome. Lightly add some butter, salt, and pepper, or spagetti sauce.
I put greek yogurt on mine.

I would not do keto if I were you. If you want to kickstart and get ready mentally you can do the 3 day tuna regimen. Then eat nothing white, fried or sweet, used to be the saying.
Just pay attention to the diet I PM'ed you, and make sure you know the G.I. of every carb. You only want to loose 2..maybe 3 lbs per week.
