Deca and TRT

Hi there Dylan.


Just wanting some advice on the correct use of Deca.

I am currently on TRT and have 1000mg of Nebido every 10 weeks. Finding this is nowhere near enough for me but the UK NHS doesn't do anything other than Nebido. I'm also looking to introduce Deca to help with a bit of lubrication on my joints as I do a lot of weight training and boxing. Not looking to gain a massive amount of size just want the Deca as an additional supplement to help with the joints.

Looking at taking 300mg of Deca per week along with 250mg of Test Cyp.

My question is, with the additional nebido in my system will my testosterone levels be high enough to eliminate or at least reduce the possibility of the Deca side effects?

Watched a lot of videos where you have said to take a slightly higher dose of testosterone than Deca.

In summary

1000mg nebido every 10 weeks
250mg test cyp per week
300mg Deca per week
 
I'm going to venture a guess here and say that it's not the fact that the dose isn't enough for you.... it's that you're doing a whole lot of it at once and then nothing for 10 weeks. It sounds like you're on a roller coaster.
The dose also maybe a little low but you wouldn't know until you got on a more consistent protocol for example once a week.

Deca is absolutely Miss used for joints and lubrication. There's a million threads and a million articles on this all over the Internet. There are much better safer alternatives for that goal.
 
why would you use deca to lubricate joints when it provides NO real healing and once you stop it then you are generally worse off than when you began, simply band aiding a wound for the time being.. ? ?
 
I'm not using Deca for the purpose of healing the joints, in going in for an operation in 4 months of my shoulder but have started work so just looking to help myself out until I get the op done and the nebido is what's used in the UK for TRT, a 1000mg 4ml injection every 10 weeks. The Deca is being used exactly as a band aid and I'm happy with that.
 
Well the Nebido at 1000mg every 10 weeks isn't optional as that's through the NHS.

The Cyp I can get from my reliable source is 250mg and the Deca, again from the same reliable source, is 300mg

If I have 1 ml of each am I going to feel the difference or any unwanted side effects from having 50mg more Deca per week than Test or will the addition of the nebido level it out, to a degree?

I know it's only low doses but as I said I'm not looking for gains just a bit of relief until this op but don't want to have 4 months of Deca dick in between
 
It really depends on the person. Different people have different reactions to different amounts.

I guess that would vary depending on your stats, age, goals, diet and how hard you work out. Sometimes, in my opinion, is better to go slow and steady than trying to rush things with high or insane doses. Look at the big picture and good luck.

that IS plenty... it is for people younger than you as well but far too many live under the more is always better concept and then wonder why they run into issues

With the nebido protocol you are on, I wouldmt use Deca unless you can run test in a way to keep it stable and even to your Deca dose. I think that's a recipe for problems with all that fluctuation you'd have.
 
My very first "cycle" ever at 25 years old was 100mg Deca + 100mg Test E for 4 weeks, 3 "cycles" a year. Deca at 100mg was considered a high dose for conditions such as muscle wasting or anemia. I gained quite a bit of size and strenght with zero sides in times when AI did not existed. Never had water retention or libido issues at this low dose. Deca is highly effective. One of the problems people tend to overlook when using deca or other compounds for the first time at high doses combined with crazy amounts of protein is the strain we put not only on the liver but most importantly the kidneys. Steroids increase protein synthesis exponentially, therefore the kidneys have to work overtime trying to filter the excess protein and toxins produced by exercise and the muscles growing and repairing themselves. Drinking lots of water is a great thing, but drinking too much rather than helping the kidneys, tend to further overload them (hyperfiltration). The risk of damaging the nephrons, (filtering kidney cells) or having acute or permanent kidney failure outweighs the "benefits" of bulking up too fast, in my humble opinion that is. Kidney damage can happen in the blink of an eye and can be irreversible.
