I hope this is ok to post here? I'm brand new to the site. Seems like a great forum!

I was hoping to get some advice on starting a first cycle. I am 34 years old 5'11 240lbs. Body fat is somewhat high (15% or so). I am not looking to get bigger. I am purely looking for the therapeutic aspects of Testosterone. I have approached my doctor on several occasions, but he won't even discuss the possibility of TRT with me. Unfortunately in Edmonton, Canada it is very tough to find a new family doctor, so that's not really an option. I've had blood tests to rule out other conditions such as thyroid problems etc. Nothing seems to be wrong. He says my testosterone levels are normal according to the "standard". But he has no idea what's normal for me, and he doesn't seem to care.

Bare in mind, I am very physically active. I lift weights 6 times a week, train muay thai 4 times a week, and work a physical construction job. Energy never used to be an issue, but it really is now. I find I don't enjoy my hobbies anymore. I have been feeling less and less well over the past 4 or 5 years. Slightly depressed, lethargic, numerous nagging injuries, gaining weight even though diet and training are in check and very strict. From what I’ve read, these are all the classic symptoms of low testosterone. I know stress is a big factor but it’s not like I can just decide not to be stressed anymore. Besides, I used to be able to deal with stress way better.

What do you think would be a reasonable approach? I was thinking perhaps 1cc of testosterone enanthate 250 once or twice a week. Do you think this is wise? I was also considering Equipoise for its therapeutic properties (I’ve heard it can help with soft/connective tissues). I know deca is probably better for that but I’ve also heard it shuts you down really hard (or at least can). Would adding EQ be too much?

Again, not looking to bulk or ever compete. Just want to feel better. If there’s anything else I’ve left out that would help you give me some advice, let me know. Thanks for taking the time to read my long post!

hey bro... you dont use steroids for all these so called "therapeutic properties" your referencing and you ABSOLUTELY do not use deca or eq on a first cycle... so just drop that from your thoughts... if your body fat is high, you have NO BUSINESS using steroids until its down to where it needs to be... if you have low test, then yes, run it but dont just use it "just because" especially if your not in the proper condition... if you need things to help heal you etc, then look to certain sarms, NOT steroids... test sounds like a good option for you if your having these issues and then adding a few sarms to it would be more than ideal... what are your needs and goals here and i can design this all for you
 
Thanks for the reply! This is exactly why I was asking. I'm not entirely sure what to take. I definitely just want to feel better. I used to compete at a national level in muay thai. I just don't have the energy these days. My IT band is causing me serious mobility issues. Doctors are next to no help here. Their advice is to stop exercising at all.
I'm definitely open to doing test and SARMS, but again I don't know much about them. Unfortunately I'm being told by people at the gym steroids are the way to go. I trust your opinion way more than theirs. So your advice is seriously appreciated!

1-12 mk-2866 25 mg day dosed once a day in the a.m.
11-14 hcg 1000 ius week

You're spreading yourself way to thin; working a physically demanding job, muay thai, and weights??? Wayyyy too much. That's why you're lethargic. 34 is still young but it's not 24, be smart & safe about your protocol. I would bet your nutrition protocol needs tweaking as well......
