Creatine Question

you have to look at EVERYTHING with proteins... just when it seems to good to be true, it is... =)

I've noticed a trend where something that is "Low" anything like sugar, carbs or fat usually has a high sodium content. It's hard to get around that.

its true... also, plant based protein is loaded with sodium as is egg protein... when you see these ALWAYS check the sodium because it will generally be alarming...

Is it fine to always be on creatine? Been taking it for 7 months now just wondering if it's something good to be on year round.

No supplement beats hard work

I usually take it for 3mo & take a month off.Personally I think it may be taxing on the kidneys to never come off it.I've read various articles on it & they all point to cycling it.

I have heard that as well, that's the main reason I asked. Glad I'm not the only one. I'll go off it for awhile.

some say you can take it all year because your body already produces it and some say to cycle it.. im a believer in cycling it... 12-16 weeks and then rest about 4...

its a good protein but its filled with sodium... thats my main issue with it

Dude... what is with this?!!!!

Brown rice/pea protein blend is like the only one I can stomach these days due to being lactose and dairy sensitive, and yet every one I find is literally jacked to the bullshit with sodium. Like a days' worth in just 2 shakes.

Suggestions?

yeah bro, they are all filled with sodium... kind of like how quest bars look great until you get to the sodium... it sucks but its like give or take... plant based proteins are filled with sodium... another that you need to be careful with are many casein proteins... there's some that have next to none but many have A LOT... a lot of times the better the flavor the more sodium as well... you MUST look thoroughly at labels because sodium OFTEN gets overlooked...
