Cold Medicine

All right, bros! So I finally caught that damn bug that's been going around: cough, slight fever, body aches, runny nose, etc, and I was wondering if any of you guys take cold medicine in the middle of a cycle. I'm in my last 4 weeks of my blast and currently have winny as part of my stack. I know Acetaminophen can be quite liver toxic, and I'm sure it's shunned upon whilst running an oral. I guess my question is, anything you guys recommend taking? I'd like to have a good night's sleep tonight. I did some Ibuprofen + melatonin last night, but it only helped a bit with the body aches. I was still up every 45 minutes or so lol. I'm staying out of the gym until, at the very least, my fever goes away and I no longer have body aches/fatigue.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I never really use much, but you are fine with using whatever needed in my opinion. Just use it sparingly and don't overdo it. If it helps you sleep and deal with the sickness easier, go for it I say. Being sick is no fun, so I wouldn't think into using it while on cycle or anything like that.

Too many guys overthink shit. It's no different than going out and having a drink or two when you are on a cycle. It's really not a big deal and it won't kill you. You just want to keep it to a minimum and be sensible

I feel your pain bro. Been battling this shit for two days now. I wouldn't worry to much about cold medicine. Just keep plenty of fluids through you

I let my body do its fighting. My fever spiked really high last night so my fiancé made me take something. But in the 5 days I've had it, that's all I took. Oh I lied. Some lozenges for my throat. But that's not really anything major.

Just took some Nyquil. I will more than likely be completely out of commission tomorrow lol. It ALWAYS does that to me. Wish me luck!

Nothing over the counter really works. I may take some nyquil, but that really only helps you sleep.

I'm a paramedic and if your fever is low grade it's best to let it run....it's your body's way of fighting off infection. That means no Tylenol or ibuprofen...just let it run itself out bro.

I wasn't planning on taking it for the fever, it's the damn body aches I've been having. I actually had really bad muscle/back aches in my upper back and rhomboid area behind my left shoulder blade. I've been using a lacrosse ball and foam rolling but can't seem to get the darn thing to release. Then I got hit with the flu and couple that with everything else aching, and my neck tightening up thus causing a migrane, and I needed something lol.
