Clarifying peak levels for rookies and newer users

Okay so for me this is always in the back of my mind for every cycle but some people don't even give it much thought. When you do a 250mg per week cycle for example, it's not REALLY a 250mg cycle in the big picture.
When levels peak at say week 5-6 for enanthate for example your blood levels are actually around double or more what your weekly dose is depending on pinning frequency. So I 250mg a week dose will give you 500mg blood levels when your peak levels hits because of the slow build up of hormone in your system. This goes for any compound you run. Same thing for orals if you dose at the correct times.
So stop thinking in terms of just weekly dosage. Your levels are truly much higher than you might think. Does it matter? Not really but it's something to think about. It gives reason to why low doses work as well as they do for one thing and it's because they're not really that low. It's just a fun fact and definitely a fact that everyone should be aware of. These guys who think they need 1000mg a week are really introducing 2000mg to their system. That's a big change in perspective.

There is a lot of truth to what you are saying, and anyone that follows a anabolic calculator to actually see the build up of the compound for any given dosage can see exactly how that happens. That's why with long esters you aren't at "peak" until about 4 or 5 weeks in when you have the most active compound in your system. This all happens because your injections are introducing more active compound into your system around the same time your previous injection hit half life......so you still have half of the previous injection plus all the new....and this keeps going on injection after injection until you are at "peak"

Based on my [limited??] knowledge, this is true but Ill add that this is not to be confused with your Test levels when you get blood results. So, if you are on 250mg/wk your blood tests wont show 500. For one, the units are not the same plus there are a ton of other factors (e2 conversion, DHT conversion, metabolism, absorption, binding to various molecules, etc.).

To illustrate Jacks point, I used half life calculations to figure Test for my 350mg/week blast (injections of 170mg and 180mg each 3.5 days apart). On day 38 the cumulative total was roughly 670mg. So, that is a total of the recent 180mg injection, the majority of the 170mg, the partials of the week before.....all the way down to halves of halves of halves of halves.........

Again, Im disregarding a bunch of variables and this is not the Test serum levels in your blood results (my test results for 350mg were over 2k nmol/dL) but, like Jack said, it is something to stimulate a little thought.

Correct. Thanks for clarifying.
