Bodybuilding and death

Hey Rick, can you explain please the exact reasons why it is very important to donate blood ? What's precisely the theory behind it ? Thanks !

If you are on eq you almost have to donate blood. You can get away with it from other compounds but its smart to donate every once in a while. You get way more red blood cells which makes your blood thicker and then it gets harder for you hearth to pump. This can cause a hearth attack. Just be aware bro!

He just did in one of his previous posts. It helps lower RBC and hematocrit. When these elevate too high, your blood thickens. This will increase your likelihood for a heart attack or a stroke.

Almost all steroids can eq is just the worst, you also have to watch out for deca, Anadrol, and halo too. Although high rbc can be tolerated easier with these drugs but virtually any steroid can raise it. That's why you should donate as much as you can. Some people on TRT have scripts to donate cause just test alone can do it for some people.

True, but you dont have to donate every 8 weeks.. Depends on what you take. You should donate 2 times a year in my opinion though.

Totally bro! I think its a mixture between painkillers, diuretics, dehydration and a few other things that probably made these athletes die. Too much for their organs to handle. Bodybuilding is a dangerous sport so you better know what you are doing and not abuse these kinds of things..

Skewed lipids and high RBC count, a.ong with hardening of the arteries and arterial plaque.....all this comes from being on for too long without coming off for the same length of time. You should also be doing things like giving blood often to keep hematocrit and RBC in check. Otherwise your blood thickens after every cycle and eventually will be so thick that your risk of heart attack and stroke is exponentially high.

There's also things like liver and kidney damage. The very large bodybuilders out a large strain on their heart from all the mass they carry around too. It's just not healthy at all. Your body doesn't know if it's fat or muscle when it comes to supplying blood to those areas. Your heart has to work just as hard either way. 300 lbs is 300 lbs
300 lbs??????? Good God! I want to build my body, but am only 5 foot 11 tall!! I think I would look a bit disgusting at 300 lbs!!! Am aiming forr 225 lbs, max!!

As much as you can is overkill. The donation center won't even let you donate "too often."

4x a year @ the most unless there is some EXTREME circumstance.

Well of course, you can't donate if they won't let you. A self phlebotomy would be the only other way and that's not really a donation.

I can not donate blood because of a chronic illness. But I get labs on regular basis, so I watch for anything unusual.

Before I found blood donation buses locally, this is gonna sound extreme, I used to do it myself. If you know what you're doing, have the necessary supplies and means to do so, it is a viable option IF you know what you're doing.

What compounds raise RBC? I've heard of this before can't recall what compounds specifically do this

My post cycle bloods always show that my red blood cell counts are all normal. So I'd say after pct for me anyway I return to normal for my blood. I also never run anything crazy when it comes to compounds and doses though however

Cuz you're smart.

What do you guys think are the main reasons that some bodybuilders die? Just curious to know what causes it. They are obviously consuming a lot from all kinds of things but what would you say are the main things?

Everyone here and across the world is dying bro. You're dying a little right now and have been since your first breath so to attribute bodybuilding rather than complications from being way over your recommended BMI and the subsequent complications from that are silly. I've always been over my BMI naturally, I've always been bigger than what health professionals call 'ideal', my entire time in the military I was technically overweight regardless of how I looked. This additional weight causes strain and that's why I take bp meds to regulate what strain my additional mass incurs. I take prostate meds to keep thing normal, I take all kinds of things to help keep things in check as much as possible... regulation is key. My BMI is moderately high according to medical standards despite my moderately low bf% and appearance. According to them I'm a fat fuck and subject to all kinds shit... Walking the Green Mile boss, walking the Green Mile.

That's a good strategy to follow. Keep doing that and you'll go far with this, effectively and safely

It ALMOST happened again; One of the competitors @ the North Americans, almost died AT THE SHOW.

The info I have so far is that the coach had no idea how to use diuretics, mineral balance, and controlling aldosterone levels.

Luckily paramedics were right there when this happened ON STAGE.

It's sad that is happening so much nowadays. These coaches scare me. One of the reasons I've never used one and coach myself. If you know wgat you are doing with drying out, and sodium/water manipulation, diuretics and things like that are completely unnecessary
