I'm 53 and been training off and on for many years. I owned a gym in my 20s and ran a few cycles of Test, Deca, and Dbol with great results. But for 25 years I ran clean. Once in my 50s, I started TRT and was amazed at how much better I felt as my test levels stayed in the mid-200s. But my Urologist allowed me to self inject test cyp and things were great until my insurance determined I needed to try androgel (which I hated) then forced me to try Axiron which was about 300.00 a month. Hell, I just told him to write the scripts and I wouldn't file with my insurance. I can get the 10ml vile out of pocket for about 50 bucks. But last year I wanted a little more kick, so I've placed a couple of orders but I've ran mostly test cyp (about 500mg per week) then scale back as I near my urologist visit. I'm thinking or doing a cycle of test, Eq, and anavar, but at my age, what would you commend? I'm 53, 5'9 185 and about 16% body fat. I'm pretty
Solid 44" chest 30" waist 16.5" arms... and I'm "ok" for a 53 year old. Here's a photo to show you where I am. I'd like to hear some suggestions. Much thanks.

Pretty swole for 53 bro. Shoulders look good. We're the same height, I'm 8 years younger than you, but still long in the tooth. I weigh 240 at present @ 13%bf, 22" arms, 52"+ chest, waist... honestly unsure right now all my shorts fit a bit loose at the waist (I can undo my belt and slide them off easily, but I normally buy size 34 waist. would have to unbutton and unzip shorts to get past thighs though) however I'm running more gear than you usually, but you definitely look jacked. Here's a pic of me sitting down at gym. Not shabby for 45. currently running Test, EQ and Deca.

Just gotta monitor RBC's, do bloods, donate blood... the usual stuff I need to donate I can tell. Lol... blood donation center has been closed for a bit for Zika (Zicca) virus updates or something.

Thanks Dylan! I appreciate the offer. I'd like to maintain my size, maybe stay between 170-185... but lose some around my stomach. Im a little I'm too old to lift real heavy. Ligaments and tendons take a beating when I do. Usually in the gym 3-4 days a week, mix up my workouts to keep muscle confusion, mix in muscle exhaustion, circuit training to keep in shape. Hate cardio, but still do some. What do you think?

i love eq, its a great compound, one of my favorites... have you ever considered primo? fuck anavar, you dont need nor want that weak ass shit... you get the sides and for what? for very very minimal gains... we can add 1-2 sarms with test, primo and/or eq and this will be such a mean cycle for you... let me know which prefer between eq and primo OR my favorite is to stack them both... however i know you wanted to keep things minimal on what you are taking... given what you are going for, personally, i would go with primo here if i had to choose but thats up to you... let me know and i'll lay out the entire cycle for you

I love test cyp/eq combo, you will do well with it provided your diet and training are on point.

As for doing it safely; follow whatever Dylan lays out for you, keep an eye on bloods, and hit it hard in the gym AND in the kitchen....

That is one helluva combination right there! I'm a huge advocate of running SARMs with gear. Imagine enhancing the effects of the gear x10 as far as hardness, definition and overall swoliosis.
