Usually is is prescribed to people with anemia, or intestinal issues. However, my understanding is that if you ask your doctor, they'll give it to you, no matter your condition. Told my doctor I was interested in b12 and he didn't even ask why. Just said it's a great idea for anyone and wrote me a script.

How do you know if the prolactin is a problem? Blood work the only way??

Pretty much, unless your prolactin is so high tat you start developing libido problems, gyno, lactation, etc...
