As I am getting older dieting has become more, and more difficult. I get so Damm frustrated. I know it takes disipline, and have done well in the past. My issue is I blow it often because I do good all day, but at night I a famished, and I pig out. I know it takes self control and disipline, but it weird ,but it has become almost impossible. I wish there was a tip,or trick that could help me from being so Damm hungry at nite.

My tip to you: If you tend to binge more at night is to save more macros for the end of the day. Fill up on water and carbonated, calorie free beverages, fibrous veggies, high volume lean proteins etc. At the end of the day, if you have a larger meal, you'll be able to sleep and adhere to your diet better. Just my two cents.

I feel like your talking to me hahaha, but seriously dead on making some serious adjustments this week thank you once again

I'm glad you got a chance to read this brother, after what I told you in PM. I'm sure you can relate to a lot of things there, and now it's time to make the necessary adjustments

If it becomes a problem at night, shift your macros to the low side during the day to make up the difference. At the end of the day what really matters is how it all adds up, so make the adjustments where necessary.

It still is always going to come down to just toughening up and having that discipline and self control. If you must eat, then munch on some green veggies or something full of fiber but low in calories. Also keep your water high which will help

Many years back I would drink beer at night. Then after about 3-4 of them my thoughts immediately would go to...OH screw the diet and I would clear the fridge. Booze took all of my will power away. I think the night time eating is common and usually due to boredom.
Here is what I do. I take a jello instant sugar free pudding, and make it with half the water and 4 scoops whey. Then at night I will spoon just a bit and wash it down with some water and metamucil. The fiber, water and protein hits the spot.
Also realize that if you are not starving when you wake up in the morning then you ate too much the night b4.

C&B, Some good advice from the senior members here, of which I hadn't tried yet. I will add that as RR mentioned in the first post, Meal Prep is important. I found that when I don't meal prep or have the veggies cut up and at the ready when hunger hits I'm more likely to make a less than ideal food choice. Remember hunger is not an emergency... take a moment to think okay what would be a better choice and know that you will be OKAY if you take the little bit of extra time for something healthier. Eat slowly.
