the exact words words that came to mind when i was reading were echoed in the article "witch hunt" because that is all it is... what a waste of time and money going after something that has no shown absolutely no adverse effects and had no reported issues... nice logic

Exactly. The reasoning from the one guy is because it hasn't been approved yet. I'm pretty sure that's not how it works. It's legal until proven unsafe. Not illegal until approved. Maybe they've changed that law but that's fucked up. That's not freedom at all.

I didn't read the full article but it was banned first in New Zealand and then here, the allegation being that it's a "date rape drug" because it's found in GHB which apparently commonly used as a date rape drug? Never heard that one. That's not the reasoning here though. The reasoning here makes no sense. The guy who's making decisions isn't even qualified and has been sued twice before for making false claims and costing companies millions. Had to pay out 200mil one time. You'd think he would knock the shit off.
