About 30-60 min before lifting. If you add that to some no xplode then its like a volcano eruption inside your body. Lol

Arginine is pretty much used strictly for preworkout purposes, and it is not a stimulant. It's mostly for pumps more than anything

Thank you RickRock every day I try something new, trying to see what will work best for me, I've already had a bad experience with preworkouts lol

in my opinion i wouldnt take Arginine supps - they are a waste of money - i have taken them in the past but i now realize they aren't necessary and I get pumps that are sometimes too much - almost painful. I take no creatine, preworkout, arginine, etc. If you want to increase your Pump, here are some key tips that worked for me:

Water - the most important - drink tons of water and stay very well hydrated

Carbs - loading up on carbs increases glycogen stores in the muscles, making them more full. I like to workout early - so I slam a Red Potato in my eggs every morning. Potato is not only good for carbs but for Potassium, which is essential for muscle pumps, preventing muscle cramps, etc.

Potassium - as stated above, you need plenty. I eat a potato every morning along with an orange and banana, also either greek yogurt or milk - tons of potassium, and you get an adequate supply of carbs for working out.

Fats - I don't care what people say - i eat olive oil every morning on my potato for breakfast and it is essential to your muscle pumps, joint health, and more. One of my favorite meats is Salmon - it's packed full of protein AND essential fats - Salmon gives me the best muscle pumps.

Magnesium - another essential to pumps - one of my favorite magnesium rich foods SALMON. also salmon has potassium as well.

also you can do 10-12 reps for better pump. I have even tried 50 rep sets with very light weight and the pump in my arms was so tight I couldnt even move the skin.

i have seen some people state ginko biloba helps blood flow as well - i am unsure but i take ginko for brain function.

you can take amino acid supps but as long as your diet is balanced you should get adequate supply from your Proteins - remember aminos are building blocks of proteins but not every protein is a complete amino acid profile, meaning not every protein has all the aminos, some sources are more complete then others, like Beef for instance.

also dont eat a lot of sodium it can bloat you

and try to stay lean - dont retain a lot of body fat if possible.

Arginine is one of the 10 essential amino acid that's required yes most of them are provided in protein powder or BCAA but I felt that I've been priving my body from all of them for a long time so I figured I'd give this a try it shouldn't hurt right?

Any thoughts on bcaa capsules vs. powerchews? I assume the powerchews allow for a rapid uptake via the saliva?

The main difference is just the taste. Powerchews are damn good. They are like eating sweet tarts. There's your main difference. I'm not big on capsulated BCAAs because they are typically lower doses and very expensive. I personally stick to the powdered BCAAs to make drinks from
