Always hungry

I think a lot of it has to do with the increased cardio I've been doing lately too.I just got a new elliptical recently & have been busting out 20 min before lifting & 20 min after. These things are a lot harder to do than the stationary bike I used to do.My quads & glutes were burning the first time I tried it.I could only do 10 min at first.

Cardio = increased appetite for me too, they go hand in hand.

When I get really cranking on a diet insomnia will creep in from the hunger

Yeah I try & do it every day except for leg day.I can't do anything after I do my legs.

this thread is making me hungry...Christ I need help.....

I just had a 8 oz sirloin steak with cauliflower & broccoli.I still have 58 calories I can eat today.Oh well not much I can do with that, except for some celery.lol

This is so me, I'll look and be like what can I eat with 22 grams of carbs, 16gms of fat, and 3 gms of protein, and then search the kitchen, lol

DISCIPLINE. Shit when I'm in prep for a show I'm so calorie depleted the last 3-4 weeks I want to kill myself.

I drink about 3-4 gallons of water a day @ that time to compensate. Since regular water is f-ing borrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrring, I use Crystal Light right up to about a week before a show.

Crystal light is a savior at times bro.. lol

Cutting is a huge mental game. It requires discipline. What I do is focus on foods that have higher volume per calories like the suggestion of a bunch of egg whites with veges mixed in was great, things like that. I also try to pre plan my days better. You don't want to eat all your calories in the beginning of the day and then starve yourself at night. Try to space your meals out so you're eating throughout the day but not overeating and cutting yourself short. It's tough no matter how you approach it, just have to be dedicated to getting what you want man.

It's just about manning the fuck up and self discipline man. That's really all it comes down to. I have an ENORMOUS appetite, and the struggle is real, but I deal with it. You don't know suffering until you go through contest prep on 1800 calories per day with 90 minutes cardio per day to get under 5% bodyfat! That's as brutal as it gets right there

Artificial sweeteners always seem to give me the runs if I use them in excess.I just steer clear of them altogether.

Probably smart since they're not all that great for you. I just know what EZ is saying when you're calories dip lower and your water intake is way up there. It gets very boring so things like crystal light are awesome from a taste perspective.

You're not lying man. When you get to that point and you happen to hook with family or friends and they start pulling out the "good" food... it's almost torture lmao. It's just boils down to how bad you want to achieve your goal and sticking it through. Mental game for sure.

That's smart having your biggest meal after your training. Thats when your glycogen stores are depleted and you NEED nutrients so you can help aid recovery. The trick for eating throughout your day is finding how to add volume in your meals that can satiate your hunger without going over your daily caloric intake. It can be a struggle man but you just have to get it done.

I'm on the road a lot for my job so I bring everything I need to eat.I never buy gas station or fast food.I have everything prepackaged & ready to pick out of the cooler. It's all weighed out too previously.Hard boiled eggs are a great picking food.I'll eat half the yolk & throw the rest.Fat satiates me & since I'm doing low carb that works for me.I lost over 50lbs in 4 months eating this way.I've tweeked it some to allow more protein though. Also I upped my carbs to just under 50g.I used to eat 20 or less & it just didn't feel right.I could never get a good pump when I was working out. This way is working out well for me.

I appreciate all the help you guys.

I really like Tren-Rick lately.He don't take no shit!lol
