Love the article, however pro cyclists are using much lower dosages than you state.
Not trying to argue but the dosage #s you list are old outdated info.
There are other cyclists on this board that can verify this.

there is a lot of discrepancy on dosing with aicar... i assure you, while there definitely are changes throughout and im sure you see this on a daily basis, the doses listed are still often used, and this is firsthand knowledge of what ive seen, however, you are correct where some are starting to use less than once were...
Good article, my only issue is with calling out the dosing used in the studies but not doing the same for GW50. GW50 dosing in most studies had its lowest amount at 10mg/kg/day. The main study on it (that most people reference) had the upper dosing at 30mg/kg/day. Humans who use it for endurance only actually use about 20mg/day regardless of weight. The same goes with AICAR, while the study used 500mg/kg/day, most humans will only use 25mg/day regardless of weight.
Having run GW50 at 20mg/day, I can say there is anight and day difference in my endurance while taking it compared to not. I have not run AICAR yet, but hope to eventually so I can intelligently compare it to GW50 and human doses.
