Advice. Coming off TRT or not

Hey guys looking for a little advice here. I've been on TRT for about 10 months, I feel great and honestly don't mind being on at all. My issue is that it cost me over $300 every 10 weeks. On top of that I have to pay for annual blood work too. I'm going to contact my primary care and see if I can get the OK to see an Endo. My fear is they are going to shoot me down as I'm currently on 200mg test hcg and ai. I doubt a doctor will keep me that high. My other options are to go ugl for my test or run a solid pct and hopefully get my system ruining again. My test levels were not terrible but low. In the 400's if I recall.

So what would you do?
Endo?
Ugl?
Pct?

I know my brothers here will have some solid advice. Thanks boys!

It can't hurt to at least go see the endo and see what they will do first. Express your concerns about wanting to be in the upper normal range, and you should be able to keep your test dose high enough still at or close to the 200mg mark.

If you don't have luck that way or the doc doesn't treat you like you want, then you can take matters into your own hands and self prescribe if you choose to do so

I think my biggest concern is wasting time with the the doctors. We all know what they are going to think when a bigger than average guy comes in. Just looking to get some anabolic steroids. That's not the case at all. Without the TRT my love life was shit and my energy levels were terrible. I need to find that rare doctor who doesn't judge the book by its cover so I can get some help for my insurance company.

300 every 10 weeks? why

That's the cost that the men's clinic I'm using has, it's the cheapest around. I know I can get the three items cheaper from sources here but I do like the fact I'm doing it the legal way, and I Dont need to worry about it being bunk or over/under dosed too. But the cost is just killing me right now. Then they have the nerve to charge 45 bucks to ship via ups.

Well, you never know the doc you'll get until you try. If you go to an endo, that's a great start because at least they know what they are doing....in comparison to a GP that really has no clue on the correct way to implement TRT more times than not

Drb has a sister that does internal medicine and has a huge amount of trt patients.A lady doc that knows more about gear then any other doc there...go figga huh? The protocol for her hospital is that men can have as much as it takes to keep them from 400-700. I know that if you went to a florida clinic they would go to about 1000, but they have less strict rules there.
You need the bloods one way or another. Why don't you just stay happy with the 200mgs and then 12-16 weeks per year run a blast? Test in the 400's is not too bad.You should feel ok there.

I would go with an anti-aging clinic who will work with you tele-medically. They are usually cheaper more knowledgeable in intervention styled medicine (meaning manipulating your hormones for optimal health). Is your current TRT protocol prescribed through a doctor, or are you doing this on your own? Are you over 40 with symptoms. There are plenty of clinics who will work with you tele-mecially and much cheaper than the $300.00 every 10 weeks (even without insurance). They do require the blood work, and they require you to get a physical once a year with your primary care physician. (Which you should do anyway). My TRT Dr is working with me tele-medically (we're in different states and I don't see him) keeps me just up above 1100 Total T, (I even had one lab showing 1400). My prescribed TRT is 160mg /week of Test Cyp. They would go as high as 200mg / week if I needed it to achieve optimal results. I will be glad to let you know who I use if you want to send me a PM.

fuck man thats pricy. I would see your endo for the required facts and protocol but other than that man just run youre gear off the black market like most of us do. Till then hunt around for a new endo.

MAn trt is pretty much a choice for life so if you are deciding now its not for you it may be too late. 10 months isnt bad though so we will see. also if you saw the vids and research here is some promising hope for RAD-140 when it comes to test levels. To early to say its a direct replacment but its looking hopeful.

There must be few doctors out there that take or have taken test. Those could be the doctors that understand your need. Just search for doctors that look muscular. Don't go to an lean-mass-anorexic doctor because he'll make you look like him. Or find doctors involved in competitive sports that won't judge you for wanting to increase your test level.

I share your concern since I would like to find a doctor that understand my needs. The only downside is that getting test from a doctor can get very expensive than self-prescribed medicines.

A good PCT can restore you back to natural.

Also, since ARF sponsors SARMS, this could be another option for you to try before taking a final decision.

Please, could someone share Pure Essence SARMS website link for OP. I'm on mobile.

Thank god for good insurance. Just had a Boston blood panel done ($4000). With several other panels. Got put on 200mg/week T Cyp. Juice was $35 for 10ml. Total out of pocket was just over $120. What sucks is my company just lost a huge contract. Of course I'm on that contract. Sooooooo early next year I might be screwed and out of work I'll have to go to UGL for gear and pray I save enough for regular blood work.

Thanks for the advice guys. I think I'm going to talk to my pcp and bring my current scripts with me. See what she thinks and go from there. I also have bloods from the last couple years. One that shows elevated levels, on that shows the low level and then hopefully she will do currents and see I'm I the right range and agree to continue my current protocol. If that doesn't work I'll ask to see an endo. I've searched the local endo doctors online and none show Mens health or hrt/TRT as their specialty. See where this road takes me.... I obviously really thought this out prior to going the TRT way. I feel great and am loving it. Just the hidden costs such as 50 bucks to ship and added blood cost are just getting crazy. Especially who I can buy all I need for 1/3 of the price from ug sources. I just really wanted to be stress free and do it legal so not to have issues with my job and law enforcement. On the flip side I'm not stress free. My bank account keeps taking a whack every 10 weeks

Thanks for the help guys

Given your situation I can't blame you for wanting to go the legal route brother. I'm sure you can find a good doc that will treat you like you need to be. There are tons and tons of people out there that have done exactly that. Best of luck to you
