Pre Workout powders and caffiene ruin my workouts

It might just be me but pwo drinks and caffeinated drinks burn me out so fast. I haven't used either in over 4 months but today I was feeling sluggish so I did and I just feel completely burnt and have a monster headache.

Does this happen to anyone else?

Yea I'm not a fan, I actually like a cup of coffee before my workout but that's it. I have some pre workout and do use it occasionally but it kinda makes me nauseous sometimes and it doesn't matter what brand.

I just said that I felt nauseous to my girlfriend maybe 15 minutes ago.

I thought I was the only one lol, every couple of weeks I'll try one again and the same thing happens. I've tried no cardio, doing cardio, no food and eatting food and still it happens...kinda weird

I throw in a preworkout every now and then because I workout so early, but usually coffee does it fine for me. I try to keep from using the stimulants too often so I don't desensitize to them. Overuse can certainly do that.

But yes there are certain preworkouts that just make me nauseous. It depends entirely on the formula

I like the non stim pump high volume from PES with a coffee for me. I have tried almost every PWO and they are a waste of money to me

There are definitely some good ones. But there are others that make me absolutely sick. I mean like dry heaving between sets sick.

I have made the mistake of taking them before grappling and dry heaving in ways I never have.

You may want to read my thread about arginine and agmatine having a different effect than what we've all been told. Do your preworkouts have those?
I get a kick from caffeine myself but I just bought straight citrulline malate and I will be using only citrulline and caffeine from now on. Citrulline has shown to be the superior GH released when it comes to pwo supplements.

I back this too. You're batting 100 brother. GW allows me to roll 8 minute intense rounds with Purple and Brown belts. Also helps me when I isolate muscle groups and hit them until failure.

I agree, preworkouts are a trap too. They work well at 1st. Then you need more. Before you know it your locked in. Best thing I ever did was just stop buying that crap. The GW is the shit !
I just did 8 sets of heavy squats.
Immediately did 6 sets of heavy DLs and felt like I could still go bench for another hour!

Love the GW as a preworkout. I am also taking the SR9009 and i am into my 4th week. Endurance is through the roof! My lifting and cardio are both seeing increases weekly. I started noticing the effects of gw immediately. The SR completely amplifies it. I know im a woman and things are a little different however I tried preworkout drinks be fore and absolutely hated the itchy feeling. With the gw I have no sides and just feel like I can keep going!

The itchiness you're feeling from the preworkout is most likely from the beta alanine. Or could be niacin sensitivity if it's in your preworkout. Either way, with GW and SR9009 you don't really need a preworkout.
I meant as I took those in the past and never will again.... Since the gw there is no need thats my preworkout of choice..
