Keep on reading over and over that lower doses of AAS work great of people on there first cycle. Seems like their is a push to lower the doses across the board. Was watching George Leyman and he basically said that anything above 300mg of Test a week is absurd for a first time user. Compared it to a first time drinker, anybody else heard of this?

As long as the gear isn't under-dosed, then yeah, 300 would be perfect for a first cycle.
 
I think everyone is looking to be the next one to come up with the staple dosage, compound etc. Its all individual and guesswork when suggesting dosage to the novice aas user. There are so many variables. No one can tell the optimal dosage for someone else. Thats not to say 300mg would be ineffective but I dont agree thst 300 will give you what 600 would. I do believe that frok the ranges of 800 and up there will be very little difference in benefit if any at all
 
I agree wwith this. First cycles should start as minimal as possible but I dont know its possible to get the same benefit from 300 as the average dose of 500

Granted that, but I do think he is coming from the point of sustaibility and suggest low doses are sustainable gains. He basically comes right out and says you think your going to keep that 20lbs of Muscle without another cycle in three months think again, low and steady boys low and steady. He is what they call fake gains because they go away.
 
Yes, you should always start your first cycle at lower doses. 250-300mg can be plenty for a first cycle. As you go down the road you can make small calculated increases. There's no reason to come out of the gate running high doses whatsoever. It's completely unnecessary and you can get just as much keepable gain from low doses if you know what you are doing with your diet and training
 
On that note, any suggestions on a good beginner dose of Primo along with 300mg of test?


Primo and EQ are two of those types of AAS that are a little different than others in my opinion. I say this because they are slow working, and have somewhat of a minimum effective dose, unlike test or other AAS. So primo is would not waste my time for anything under 600mg. I've heard people say that they have had some gains at 400mg but more often than not, it seems to be mostly a waste at doses there. So I would go 600mg personally. Same goes for if you considered EQ.

If it was a different steroid, like say, deca or Tren , then ya you could run 200mg and make gains but both of those are nothing to be used for first cycles or beginners either, especially Tren.

I will never ever do Tren, for one simple reason I can be naturally a pretty aggressive person, I'm pretty chill but when I'm pist off, its burn the city down time.

I started at 500/week and upped it to 625/week around about 8 weeks in. I don't think I would have been happy at all with 300/week. I think dosages are very individual.
 
I say if your going to blast might as well do it right. 5 hundo all the way. But that also depends on your mass to began with. I surely wouldn't tell somone @ 160lbs to blast 500 off rip
 
For a first cycle it would be advisable to start with 250-300 mg test and assess your results, then ramp up as needed based on personal goals and reaction to the compound.
