Watching crossfitt games doc on netflix

Are all crossfitt games contestants on steroids?

I'm sure most athletes are on some type of performance enhancements. They're everywhere. I'm sure there are some who are natural but I'd say its the latter more often than not regardless of sport. Just the way things are man.

you cant say that every single one of them is because that would just not be true but probably 80-85% are taking some sort of enhancement... not necessarily ALL steroids but something to boost performance...

Not judging I just feel like there in there 20's shooting the juice and the girls look like there eating the test for breakfast lunch and dinner

I just watched that documentary and got a whole new respect for crossfit. That shit is gruelling. I never knocked crossfit. Its just not for me

I cannot agree more. I like how I can possibly add it to my arsenal of workouts I love the physique they have from the workouts.

There is a stigma about crossfit in the bodybuilding world, no doubt. I personally will add some classic crossfit workouts on top of my bodybuilding routine for endurance and when I'm cutting. Morning 10-15 minute crossfit workouts with my normal BB routine in the afternoon. It can be very taxing however, and must be utilized sparingly. Some of the workouts are far more intense than they get credit for, I'll say that for sure.

I haven't watched it yet but I will. I usually watch everything training related. I know a lot of bodybuilders/powerlifters knock crossfit, mostly from all the dumb shit/injuries you see online from regular people but the same can be said about every training style. I'm not against it but it's not for me either. I will say I'm pretty sure a crossfit training session would whoop my ass though cardio wise lol..

I watched the show as well and it was interesting to say the least. As noted above some of the women looked as if they were about 2 years away from vitalization. Just subtle rounding of the jaw line was what I noticed on some of the more jacked ladies. Personally I love the way their physiques look as women, a few of the guys looked like they ran gear as well. In all honesty even though I have knocked xfit, the show made me curious and if my spine wasn't a jacked up stack of bones I'd consider it myself now.

I know that shit is intense.. Personally it's not for me, seems like to many injuries can occur easier.
I'll stick to bodybuilding

I live and breath crossfit. The thing that I like about CrossFit is that was proper diet and nutrition you stay in excellent shape year round you always look good if you're committed to it. I know a handful of guys who go to Regional and compete and they will say that there are people who are using Peds but not everyone is on Peds I would be very unfair to say it would be unfair to those who are not. A lot of these guys are just genetic freaks and as far as the women go they too are also genetic freaks most of these guys have done Olympic lifting , gymnastics , are other form of Collegiate Sports for most of their life so CrossFit comes natural to them the engines that is kids have are absolutely ridiculous. Joe Romano just did a big YouTube video not long ago about how he was helping some of the games athletes get to where they are and he explained that but use of PEDs technically did not get them where they are now because they have always had that skill they have always had that drive Kama they have always had that push, and they have always had that work ethic.

It's for everyone, fun, it's grueling, it will put you mentally where you have never been before. On some of the work out you just have to find that dark place and keep on going.

The one thing that chaps my ass is when people say oh they use bad form. Well when you see people not using proper form that's because they have not had to coach to teach them properly.

The biggest thing that I like that I've gotten out of CrossFit is vitality and endurance I can do things that I was not able to do before I started CrossFit. I feel much better, I feel younger comma I feel full of life. And this has rubbed off on my family and on my children because when they come with me they'll stand off to the side and mimic what I'm doing and they'll bring that home with them and show their mom whenever they're at her house what I did, they're always asking this Foods healthier than fruits healthy so it trickles down to Snowball Effect we are not a cult trying to take over the world and Crossfit is not a fat it's been here for over 10 years and it's getting bigger and bigger every year.

And of course you have the typical CrossFit douchebag who basically ruins the sport for everyone and makes you think that it's something that it's really not. What you see on TV and what you see on Netflix is not CrossFit. When you're watching the CrossFit games that is not CrossFit that's the competition's out of it but you're not seeing the family side of it the bonding, the camaraderie, standing around cheering, clapping, motivating that person to keep pushing and to finish and to finish strong.

I was shocked to read these two pages of comments from you guys and not a single negative thing has been said and that's very shocking because most of the time when you read on the Forum about CrossFit you have somebody knocking it or saying how stupid it is or this or that much respect to all you guys for your responses.

well you know where the negative comes from is the "crossfit" douchebag in the gym that is screaming or doing some dumb shit like you have seen in some videos. lol but I have had nothing but great respect for them but its like anything else there are meathead body builders too that do dumb shit just to look like they are doing something. I have mad respect for anyone that can do that shit and aint mad at all damn sho got more endurance than me hahaha
