Warming or heating gear pre-injection, could heat degrade it?

I have read that warming up gear helps liquids going in and out small needles. Also, with certain products helps dissolve possible crystallization or help mix solutions.

Some users reported to keep it at room temperature and never warm it up, they just inject.

Definitely warming it up lightly wouldn't hurt. However, how much heat is too much? Could heat degrade testosterone or primo potency?

Heating or not, I assume it could depend on the product composition and the level of heat.

Asking for some bro-science on this.

I heat mine just with hot tap water. Just enough to warm the oil for easier plunge.

For pinning purpose no mre than the body's temp. I wouldn't heat anything above 250* for 15 minutes properly vented of course if it keeps crashing

Unless u boil it in a pot I highly doubt you'll heat it up so much that it'll cause an issue

You will not degrade the quality whatsoever by just heating it up at a reasonable temperature for injection. If you were putting it under extreme heat, that would be a different story, but warm or hot water ran over it to heat it slightly is not a concern

Hot tap water should do the trick. I live in the deep south and store gear out in my garage. So it is always warm. The temp of typical tap water is 140F, and that should do the trick for you.

Also, if it makes you feel any better, when I cook it myself the gear goes to 230F...which is pretty friggin hot. It won't break down bro. Takes a lot of heat to break down. I have a whole list of breakdown temps and most are well over 300F

Jake, I was hoping to see your input on this, since I value your bro-science lol

Thanks all for the replies. I understand and feel reassured, since I was blowing hot air with a fan heater to keep the solution warm. I won't push the heat to high. Definitely this winter I won't inject frozen test!

I read some crazy stuff that I could never do, such as heating the vial inside a microwave. First, I don't use microwaves, second, the microwave is reported to lower organic food benefits when used to cook up to 40%.

Well when you are in a big hurry just shoot with an 18g pin...and you also might as well iron your clothes with them on...lol. You are ok bro..no worries

warming with water or something is fine for thinning to inject but high heat such as microwaving could be damaging to the ester(which i dont think anyone is doing lol).

Lol, ya I think I'll pass on that 18g injection. Ouch....

What kind of heating pad do you use?

It was a very basic one I bought at the pharmacy for $19.99. I put it on high and let the whole syringe sit for 10 to 15 minutes max. Goes in so smooth.

I live in moderate climate so it is not an issue since I keep my oils indoors. I never preheat but I would think so long as you focus on preheating to body temp and no more you are gtg.
