VG Injection - Tingle In Ankle

Used the vg site for my last two injections. It's the first time I've used this spot. Both injections were just 1ml of cyp200, 1" 25g needle. I feel no pain during the process, no bleeding. I have no pip, or swelling the following days. I do, however, get a strange tingle in my ankle for about the first 3 hours following the injection. After that it just goes away. I'm not worried, since I do not display any signs of a bad injection. Im just curious if anyone else has experienced this. I'd also like to know what it is. My guess is that it's a pocket of oil pressing on a nerve, tingle goes away when the oil dissipates. I'm no scientist though.

In 20% of people (myself included... damn it) the sciatic nerve in the glute doesn't run in front or behind the muscle, but RIGHT through it. Which means even the teeniest aggravations to the muscles anywhere in your glute (I'm talking hamstring to lower back lat spec' - that entire area) can inflame the area around the nerve and cause a lot of weird shit. Everything from tingles to numbness to excruciating throbbing sciatica.

VG is the best place to inject IMO
This is what every nursing book and instructor says. Alotta guys on here swear by it too. Did the last two while sitting. I'm gonna try to do my next one standing, or have my wife apply it laying on my side.

It definitely sounds like you are hitting a nerve. Everyone is a little different with sites and it sounds like you are responding that way. Is it affecting your ankles on both sides doing VG?

Ventro makes my knees hurt on that side sometimes. Like today ³cc right Ventro.. My knee feels like it's locked up. Sometimes, feel absolutely nothing. Both sides are like that for me.

Damn. I'm not experiencing anything like that. How long does your knee feel locked up? Mine is more like my ankle is asleep.

Yes, both sides did this. It's only been one shot per side so far. for all I know it may never happen again. Due for another on my right side today, so we'll see. Almost 20yrs I've been injecting, and beyond virgin muscle pip, this is the first 'reaction' I've had from injection. It just raised my brows a bit.
