Slower deliveries due to holidays

Hello everyone. I just want all of you to be aware that for the next month, deliveries will likely be slower than you are used to. It happens every year and there is nothing that can be done to change it. I've already noticed a slow down in delivery times in the past 2 weeks. My mail carrier told me that they are already completely overloaded with packages. All of the vendors here do our best to ship quickly but everything takes longer in the holiday season. Driving, time at the post office, delivery times........ It all takes more time than usual. Thanks for understanding.

I know that's the truth. Worked for UPS for a couple years doing logistics. And it doesn't end at the New Year, returns and exchanges will bog down the system for weeks after Christmas.

Shipped out a pack yesterday morning to a member/customer only 4-5 hours away and they gave an ETA of 5 days lol....insane. That's just the nature of the holiday season these days, and from what I understand USPS recently cut a major deal with Amazon which will really slow them down this year

My boy is a mailman and he told me it's crazy this time of year and packages get redirected to different location due to the overload especially in NYC where I am located. My pops lives 2 hour away up north it took 5 days to get to me. I will drive next time lol
