Site Specific Training (muscle imbalance)

Hey guys Ive noticed a small imbalance in my left tricep mostly the medial or where the tricep meets the elbow or funny bone. I've done some research and some training and it seems that Its stronger but not getting the same development as my right tricep. I'm doing mostly dumbell champagnes and close grip db pressing. Single arm rope pulldowns, hammer press ect every variation. I guess I have to keep patiently grinding. Being right handed I've been trying to use my left more to stimulate more muscle nerve connection and make better contractions every rep. Years ago I slightly tore my right patella tendon lifting and that lead to a big quad imbalance and I've been training around it doing Bulgarian split squats to strengthen my left and noticed a huge improvement. What are some good techniques for strengthening and growing that inner medial short head of the tricep?

Well to really fix the issue you gotta know what's causing it. It could be so many things though. I get this in the shoulders a bit. To remedy it just means more sports adjustments. For me that's what worked. Getting tension out and relieving areas from over compensating due to it.

Juts be cincious of it. You don't want to over compensate but do some minor isolation in the area your trying to hit. Don't get frequent or youl be in the opposite situation fast lol.

These are tricky. A lot of times it comes to form in lifting and how your l body is preforming. Could be as minor as a joint issue in the elbow area. Who knows. Focus on the contractions of the muscle though

I'm there with you. All sorts of imbalances. Left quad and bicep are smaller and bicep has a strange shape lol.

I would add in a little more isolation movements to compliment everything else, so you can work each side individually. I wouldn't necessarily train your underdeveloped side more in my opinion. Everybody is going to have places on their body that has one side of a muscle group more developed than the other. That's very common. I had it in my chest for a long time where my left side was much more developed than the right. That's not the case anymore. Eventually the non dominant side will catch up as you grow. This has been based off of my own experience as well as advice from others, and that's exactly what happened
