Here's my specific question with my goals in mind. I'm training for the Spartan Trifecta this year and the past 6-10 months have been somewhat rough for training, cardio specifically (recovering from on/off injury). I'm 35 so my joints and ligaments don't heal as fast as my cardio increases, so I have to take way more rest days, and increase distance slower than I would like. I used to lift maybe 50-60 minutes, and throw in 10-15 minutes of HIIT once in a while. Now my workouts are more like 50-60 minutes of lifting, and 30-60 minutes of cardio--and some days it's 60+ minutes of trail runs. I need to be able to fit cardio in more frequently, and increase distance, without pain.
Overall, LGD is more effective for strength/size, so my original plan was to run Osta+S4+GW to help with recomp, healing, and cardio. What do you guys think about switching it out to LGD+S4+GW? Would there be any benefits that I'm missing, or is Osta+S4+GW really the best choice for this goal?
Appreciate the input!
