Maybe am getting bigger than I thought with workouts! I went in to hospital early and heard my RN in charge, Serena, telling a difficult patient (he has broken leg below knee from car crash) who is feeling sorry for himself, and she tells him:
”Look, if I were you I would snap out of it and pull yourself together! You are not only one here hurt and in metal pin cast!! If Nurse Dorin get here at 0700 this morning and hears you whining about how terrible everything is? I would not want to be you when his black high heel combat boots come down this hallway! He will straighten you out fast!”
Ok, am at nurses station ROFLMAO!! Did I just hear my charge nurse tell a difficult patient she will sic her NURSING STUDENT on him if he is not going to shut his ass up? She comes back to nursing station and catches me laughing me head off along with two night nurses and tells me: ”Well you fit the part and we know you were hurt much worse than him. Besides, you did not miss us noticing your arms are getting very distracting and you butt looks great in scrubs, have you? We have seen you in your kilt! Not all men can wear those and you have the legs for it.”
A dude could not start his day with bigger ego boost than this!
Ok, get you gear together and start another workout cycle! My next internship rotation? ER! Strength?? Yeah. Am going to need it! Holding out for Valhalla Promos!
