Hello - I've been poring over SARMs information for about 3 weeks now and while I think I have many of the answers I need, wanted to hear it from some folks who've actually used these compounds.
Im 39, and 5'9" - and have been into lifting weights for the last 2 years - long story short, I was extremely and morbidly obese for a very long time and took control over my health and physique due to well, not wanting to die. I had no initial interest or concern about looking a certain way until really the last year. My weight went from 330# to 212# in just over a year and now I reside at a comfortable 225# - I've been able to pack on a lot of muscle, drop tons of sizes on my waist and my strength now is huge compared to where I was even at 17 and playing ice hockey competitively.
I started with cardio and hated it. Found Starting Strength and then settled on stronglifts, which I run most often, bringing my ORM on squats to 400# - something that shocks me even to this day. I now run cardio in the form of heavy bag training, farmers walks and fast circuits of pull-ups, sit ups, some treadmill work etc.
All that considered, my diet is clean, very high in protein and I have gotten a handle on bulking vs cutting in terms of diet. At this point, I want to target the excess bodyfat and while I know no compound or isolated exercise will "target" anything in terms of fat, I have been looking to solutions that will help get me there. I can't do most fat burners because I hate the psychological effects of extreme caffeine, but have heard from a few people that SARMs will work in a similar way without that nasty "cracked out" effect.
So my question, and forgive me, I am new to this - what direction should I pursue? I've been told Ostarine stacked with Cardarine would be one way to go, whereas a friend of mine said Ostarine only.
Any thoughts, advice etc would be appreciated.
