Being a little nervous before your first pin is normal. It happens to many people. You just have to man up and get it done. I assure you that it just gets easier and easier buddy. Don't think about it and just do it. You have a while before you even start so you shouldn't even be worrying at all right now or you'll just make matters worse on yourself

Thanks bro! I do need to chill i suppose, ive gotten to the point to where i go into the bathroom and walk my self through the steps. I know what gauge sizes to draw and inject with and to make sure my syringe, injection site, hands and vial top are sterile. I know where to go in ate (glute) and at a 90 degree angle and slowly, i know to aspirate and look for blood, i know to slowly push the plunger and to hold it in for about 30 seconds after. i also know to massage the area (not to soon or oil may run out) I just dont know if i will have the heart to do it LOL but like you said i just need to man up................

Like RR and RedMorkai said above, being nervous is natural. I posted about my first few pinning experiences awhile back as a point of reference for people like yourself. I still remember my first pin....it took me about 30 minutes until I manned up and do it. After it was done, I really felt like "that's all there is to it!"...that wasn't so bad. So don't sweat it too much and don't worry if it takes you awhile before you do it. You'll look back and laugh at how nervous you were once you do it for a couple of times.

Nordstroms has big boy pants BOGO... worst that could happen is you stab a nerve bundle and paralyze yourself, pin a vein and have air in the pin and have a stroke later on, or get an abcess from infection and to septic. Nothing to be nervous about at all.

Could happen but highly unlikely unless you live in the DFW area....

Just giving you a hard time, the hardest part is the initial stick itself, then it just glides in like you're a pro at it. Just don't flex that cheek and relax.

Cant shop at nordstroms, spending all my money on food and gear haha

When you decide to pin a quad, use your pointer & middle finger with your freehand to stretch the area(push the skin apart tight). It makes a big difference.Glutes are no problem.Just think of how thin that pin is.

Its natural. I still dont like it but i dont like eating chicken breast everyday either. Just gotta do what ya gotta do and know that in the end itll all b worth it

I hear slin pins are pretty thin but you can only use on low fat areas, mainly delts? But then i hear there are alot of nerves in the delts so i glute will probably be the spot for me

Glutes & VG are the best place to start with. After awhile they'll get sore though.I alternate between Glutes,VG & quads.Just started doing VG.I learned about it here. It's really smooth & painless.Quads can be tricky sometimes.

I've only done quads and VG, both have worked well for me. VG is easiest IMO.

I was surprised how smooth VG was the first time I tried it.I don't think I could ever do my pecs though.Just the thought of it makes me cringe.

The biceps freak me out too.Hell no!LOL

I'd have to wait til I added some more mass on my shoulders to consider them.I do all my pins below the waist.

As someone that always hated getting shots I psyched myself out when I pinned for the first time but I went with a 26ga, yeah it may take a few seconds longer but I barely even feel it. You start to look forward to pinning after awhile [emoji23]

Bro, I've found so many smooth places to pin the biceps it's ridiculous. Literally off the top of my head I can think of 3 spots on the bi's that the pin just painlessly glides in and there is no feeling the oil as it enters. Bi's are a great option IMO.

More power to ya bro.I can't see myself ever doing them.Triceps?maybe but not my bi's.
